Concerns about Medical and last menstration question

Hello,

I know one of the important questions during the medical is they ask when was your last menstration stop and start date.

Here's the thing.. my fiancee's last menstration was in December. She says she doesn't have a monthly cycle sometimes it's about 3 months and her sister has the same problem.

I told her it's important to be able to tell them during the medical the last start and stop date of her period. So she went to the doctor and asked for some pills to help her have her cycle. She has been taking them for a few days already but it's not coming yet.

The doctor also gave her a pregnacy test and she's not pregnant.

We planned to have her go for her medical in the next two weeks.

How concerned do we need to be about the question of her last period ?

What happens if we do to the medical and aren't sure the exact last stop / start dates but just that it was in December ?

Will they send her away even though we have a recent paper from a doctor that show's she's not pregnant ?

What happens if we go to medical when she's having her period ?

I'm a bit concerned because we need to have her take and complete the medical in the next few weeks in time before our scheduled interview or we have to reschedule interview.

What should we do ?

also: I already got a ticket to go to the planned interview..

I believe she should be honest. I'm sure those physicians know what oligomenorrhea and secondary amenorrhea are. She always has a chance to elaborate her condition.

and you got a doctor who says she is not pregnant. Just bring the doctors report, an explain... Dont go to the elaborate scheme of trying to fake a period to try to please immigration. If a person is honest, and above reproach, there is nothing to fear.

dont worry about her not having a period...they will give her a pregnancy test anyway whether they know the last period or not. If she has her period during the first day of the medical, she will be told to come back for the exam down there as far as I know. Dont have her take the pills anymore unless you want to delay the medical. there is no reason for her to have a menstral cycle just to please the consulate. St. Lukes will understand what is going on.

She could still go on with the medical exam even during her period but she'd be told to return for the physical exam (the part when she disrobes completely for the doctor to take a look at her external genitalia and back) once her menstruation is done.

The reason they ask for the last menstruation period is to make sure that you're not pregnant because one of the vaccines they would have to administer is not good for pregnancy. They would even tell you to make sure not to get pregnant within a month after the vaccination. Also, they would have to provide a shield for you during the x-ray if you're pregnant.

If the last menstrual period has been too long before the medical examination, they would just do a pregnancy test. They would ask though when was the last sexual contact.

If her menstruation comes on the day of the medical (just like mine did), she can still go through the other steps but they would tell her to go back for the physical examination when her period is over.

So we just booked our travel for her to go to her medical and guess what ? Her period just started now. Now I am concerned that she's having her period on her medical days.

She thinks that it should be about finished in a few days when she goes. What happens if she's having a little blood still ?

Do they still tell her you must come back ?

Please let me know if you think we should try to adjust her plane ticket and go a different time... We were hoping to complete the medical in two days only next week.

Well, to be safe, I would change the ticket...What day were you planning on having her go to manila? Its already saturday there.
