US Embassy London - How long til Packet 4?

Hey everyone,

I sent off the completed packet 3 to the US embassy in London recorded delivery. I tracked the packet and it was received on the 19th of March, just over two weeks ago. In the meantime I've had my medical examination, but they're waiting for some further information from my GP before they forward the information to the embassy.

I haven't heard anything back from the embassy so far to do with Packet 4/an interview date, I was wondering if this was a normal length of time and whether I'm just being impatient?

Any information would really be appreciated

Hi,

I sent my papers areound the same time as you, from looking at recent timelines and such i think the average time between sending P3 and recieving P4 is around 4 weeks, but this is certainly not a steadfast rule, it can be anything from 2 weeks to 3 months..

So i am with you on the impatience, at least knwong a date for my interview would be GREAT, and yes patience is still required but be happy in the knowlegde there you are nearly there.
