the article is mainstream BS... they hire people to put anything out there, they need to fill in the blank space so lesson is, if you are serious about the markets, don't read Yahoo, CNBC, MSN, Google, and the like.

people should be investing not for today, but for the long term (can't time the market!!!). given the huge drop, a long term investment right now isn't a wild bet, it is a smart move. buy and hold to avoid capital gains.
