I phoned at 4:50 and got my date!!! August 3rd!!! The lady was so sweet and put up with me screaming into the phone (:

I am so happy to see all of these interviews being scheduled. Congrats to you all! It has been a looong wait but once our interviews are over and done with all of this waiting will feel like a distant memory. :dance:

It is time for me to go to the cottage and celebrate !!!!

AOS

POE @ Toronto Pearson - 08/12/10

Civil Ceremony - 08/27/10

Applied for SSN in married name - 09/06/10 (I was told it will take 4 weeks to get the background check cleared and an additional 2 weeks to receive my card)

AOS/EAD/AP sent with FedEx - 09/25/10

E-Notice From Chicago - 10/05/10

I-797C, NOA1 Received - 10/08/10

SSN card received (FINALLY!)- 10/23/10

Biometrics appointment - 10/28/10

EAD Approved - 11/19/10 (USCIS Website Notice)

AP Approved & Received - 11/22/10

EAD Received- 11/23/10

Interview - 02/07/11 APPROVED!

I am now a U.S. Permanent Resident!!

LOL I screamed too and the lady kept talking through me saying Thank you OMG that she had to repeat some of what she was saying again LOL

& Agreed time to go CELEBRATE!!!

oh my gosh...just thought I'd see if anything happened this afternoon before I wind it down here, and WOW did it ever!I'm so very happy for all of you who got interview dates today. Have to admit, got a little teary eyed reading all the posts. Now you can really enjoy your weekend!!

Yea, same thing happened to me too, We had checked the previous day, nothing, then someone posted at like 4:55 on a friday that dates were released, it SUCKED waiting, Im sure she has one though (Even if she doesnt know what it is) :)

I'm so mad at myself!!! Now, can someone please tell me how I'm supposed to survive until Monday?? Stupid Vero! :bonk:

But SO FREAKING EXCITED FOR EVERYONE!!!!

Gosh, I'm so not gonna sleep until Monday now... What if I don't have a date?? Haha, just joking, I'm not worrying, I promise!!!

It's alright Vero...I'm sure you have a date waiting for you too. Try not to beat yourself up too much, it won't do any good. Just keep excited about that trip you will be taking sooon :)
