True, but until they come up with something with the same versatility as Flash has (and has had for a long time now) then it's going to be hard to replace. There's honestly not much you cannot do with Flash if you have an understanding of it.

For someone in the market of buying a home computer or laptop that will be mainly used for social networking, surfing on the net, watching video - the iPad A GIANT SIZED iPHONE makes a lot more sense because of its portability and ease of use.

iPads are gay. $500 starting price for a device that has no keyboard, no connections for peripherals, no flash and you have to buy every application from Apple. What's the point?
