So I am at the stage when the NVC has sent out the DS 3032 notice to my wife. I have read in various posts that there might be a way for her to submit the DS3032 form details online. Is this true and can someone give me the step by step on how to do it?

Thanks for your help in advance.

I think this is what you need:

Email OPT-IN

I think this is what you need:

Email OPT-IN

This option shown in the link is available only for applicants who choose electronic processing (EP) . There are only few consulates that process the case electronically...I think China, Canada and Chile. Pakistani applicants do not have the EP option.

However you can send is your choice of agent(DS-3032) by email for all filers (EP and non EP). But the rest of the packets will have to be mailed in directly to NVC. The beneficiary can send an email to NVC choosing who the choice of agent will be. There is a template for this email in the guide.

Have you called NVC and given the petitioners and beneficarie's email address? If not do it ASAP and send in your DS-3032 by email once its generated.

Here is the step by step break down.

1) Call NVC and talk to am operator (NVC is open from 7AM to 12PM EST)

2) NVC is always busy and you will get a busy tone. You will have to keep trying till you get through.

3) Give NVC your's and your wife's email address

4) Send an email to NVC indicating the choice of agent from the beneficiarie's email address using the email template in this link

http://www.visajourn...il_DS-3032_form

Since you already got your DS-3032 by email I am guessing NVC got your email information from the I-130 forms but do call to confirm but you are good to go and you can send the email right away.

NO - don't do this - is not available for your country. In fact, it's for NVC Electronic Processing, which YOU DO NOT QUALIFY for.

Sorry.

Follow these instructions, instead - http://www.visajourney.com/wiki/index.php/Email_DS-3032_form

Good Luck !

Darnell

Thanks for your advice\info it was greatly appreciated. I wont be wasting my time trying to get into the electronic processing program since that is not even an option for me. I did however have my wife email the NVC with the DS 3032 info.

Anyone know of anything else I can do with a beneficiary in Pakistan to help speed up my process?

Thanks

Sure ! When ready - sign up for the online payment portal - and pay yer fees online.

Also - the beneficiary will need to give to you, to give to NVC, the DS-230 plus all of the supporting documents.

Suggest you review the DS-230 now, have yer wife fill one out, sign it , and send to you via EMS or UPS or DHL or Fedex. Have her include those original documents plus a photocopy.

Do NOT sign Part II.

Good Luck !

Darnell thanks agin for the info. I did send the email, still anxiously waiting for the confirmation email. However the thing that has me a little worried is that I have not received the fee bill yet and they mailed it out on the 30th of March. Am I being over anxious or do you think I need to ping the NVC? I also thought I read somewhere that I can pay the bill even if I have not received the bill, any truth to that?

Thanks

received the fee bill yet

you should follow a list of steps, exactly, from here:

http://www.visajourney.com/forums/topic/221785-ds-3032-slowdown/page__view__findpost__p__3560467

Sounds to me like there was NOT a fee bill sent to you via email - as part of a 'ds-3032 kit'.

mail<>email, here.

if 'they' are mailing out a fee bill to you, then you're not paying online.

If you'd like to pay online, then you need the IIN - which usually can be found

in the AOS fee bill inside of the ds-3032 kit that is emailed to you. You can call back, ask for a fee bill to be EMAILED to you.

I suggest you pay online. Study the items in that link, and Good Luck !

Darnell you the man, again thanks to your direction I have just gotten email confirmation from the NVC that they have received my wifes email and processed her choice of agent.

I called up the NVC last night and gave them my email and my wifes. They informed me that the choice of agent email I had sent the NVC has to be processed manually it takes a little time for them to process and acknowledge it. The email had been sent Monday and we got the confirmation an hour ago.

I also asked the NVC operator to send me the DS3032 email kit. I dont know if anyone has ever been so anxious to give the government money :)

Anything else I can do, other then gather the required docs birth certs etc, while I wait for the next step?

thanks again everyone

if things get confusing at NVC - call back, ask for 'AOS FEE BILL' to be emailed to you.

Pay attention, non-EP NVC noobs. Here's Christeen's time tested formula to get you through NVC in one piece alive:

Petitioner: Get NVC # + give operator your email IDs + receive AOS fee bill + pay 70$ online + wait to show paid + print cover sheet + send I-864 AOS with all documents and case # written on each page.

Beneficiary: Get NVC# + receive DS3032 + send DS3032+ DS3032 accepted + IV fee bill available to be paid + pay & wait to show paid + print IV cover sheet + mail DS230 package with all original/certified documents

= wait for case complete + wait for interview to be scheduled.
