Hi :)

A# is your alien registration number, and you can see it on your visa.

The number under the name of your petitioner, the one started with A.

hope this will help.. :D

Not petitioner, beneficiary.

You can find it in many places: NOA2 is just one example. I-94 has it too.

Слава Україні!

Yes the A number stars by "A", mine was written in the back of the I-94 form by the inmigrant officer at my entrance.

There is another number in the front of the I-94 form which is printed.. thats the I-94 number by itself.

Hello!

If you are in the same situation as me, then you don't have any alien registration #.

I came in early December to spend my 3 month tourist visa with my boyfriend. We've been doing it for a year now, I come for the max temp of my visa then go back, etc. I was supposed to go back after my birthday, in february but it became really hard to think about the going back, so he took me on a trip to Vegas and we got married there, a week before i was supposed to leave the country...

As I wasn't planing on getting married now, i didn't had any fiancée visa or whatsoever that would have gave me an alien registration. I'm now filling the I-485 along with the I-130 without being able to give this number or a social security number. But If you look at it very closely, it's also written (if any) and for me that means you don't need to put one if you don't have any. If someone could confirm it, it'd be nice!

thanks

Nath

Yep...if you don't have an A-number yet, you just put 'none'. You will be assigned one later, when you paperwork is being processed.
