Fiona is cute. :innocent: My husband is planning to fly his other Siamese cat named Pri from Houston. He left her there two years ago when he began working here in CA.

BTW, we had the same AOS interview date but mine was at 1 p.m. Congratulations! :thumbs:

My miss Misty (looking peacful here) is a real stubborn one... She is completly deaf (I rescued her 2 years ago) so I can't yell at her!!! She loves to do things that make a LOT of noise as she does not hear it... But I catch her when she is doing things wrong because I can sneak up on her!!! But she lacks volume control so sometimes she comes up to you and SCREAMS her meows... But I have taught her some hand signals and I tap the ground to get her attention...

She's Siamese mixed with regular old cat. Her eyes are crossed too. ;)

Does she meow more than your ASH? The girl next door sometimes leaves her American shorthair to me and it could go for weeks without meowing.

Actually she's the quieter one-but she does have a funny voice. He's quite talkative though. :D

O no guys, I have a big cat problem!!!

I know it is a common problem with cats. She has always covered her poop completely before. She used to have a regular litter box, without a top. A month ago we got her a covered one because there was litter all over the carpet, and it is now much better. She got used to it immediately and didn't have any problems. However the litter kind I used to buy seems to have changed because it used to be almost dust free and there are big clouds of dust coming from it every time I scoop now. I bought a different kind - corn litter - and mixed them together. The corn litter has a different smell and I don't especially like it, but it is not dusty and it clumps well. Yesterday I changed the litter to only corn and now she poops on the top and doesn't cover it. She doesn't even seem to dig before she does her thing like she used to. This has happened twice since yesterday. Sorry for the long questions, but keep on reading please :) I was wondering if it could be the smell that she doesn't like or the way it feels to her paws...it isn't that different in consistence than the other one. I am worried she might stop using it completely. But not covering it is already a problem because IT STINKS! :) Suggestions?

I am debating changing it back to the other kind tomorrow...Then maybe looking for another kind that doesn't have a smell. But she has used scented before and it didn't seem to bother her. I guess she is growing up and becoming stubborn and picky. So much for the cute little thing that will walk after me all day long.

09-25-2007 = Touch (first-ever).

09-28-2007 = NOA1, 23 days after their 45-day promise to send it (grrrr).

10-20 & 11-14-2007 = Phoned ImmOffs; "still pending."

12-11-2007 = 180 days; file is "between workstations, may be early Jan."; touches 12/11 & 12/12.

12-18-2007 = Call; file is with Division 9 ofcr. (bckgrnd check); e-prompt to shake it; touch.

12-19-2007 = NOA2 by e-mail & web, dated 12-18-07 (187 days; 201 per VJ); in mail 12/24/07.

01-09-2008 = File from USCIS to NVC, 1-4-08; NVC creates file, 1/15/08; to consulate 1/16/08.

01-23-2008 = Consulate gets file; outdated Packet 4 mailed to fiancee 1/27/08; rec'd 3/3/08.

04-29-2008 = Fiancee's 4-min. consular interview, 8:30 a.m.; much evidence brought but not allowed to be presented (consul: "More proof! Second interview! Bring your fiance!").

05-05-2008 = Infuriating $12 call to non-English-speaking consulate appointment-setter.

05-06-2008 = Better $12 call to English-speaker; "joint" interview date 6/30/08 (my selection).

06-30-2008 = Stokes Interrogations w/Ecuadorian (not USC); "wait 2 weeks; we'll mail her."

07-2008 = Daily calls to DOS: "currently processing"; 8/05 = Phoned consulate, got Section Chief; wrote him.

08-07-08 = E-mail from consulate, promising to issue visa "as soon as we get her passport" (on 8/12, per DHL).

08-27-08 = Phoned consulate (they "couldn't find" our file); visa DHL'd 8/28; in hand 9/1; through POE on 10/9 with NO hassles(!).
