I have called several Physican Care centers and they do not know what I am talking about. I told them I am getting engaged/married to a non US citizen and they require the exam.

Does anyone knows exactly what exam (what it is called?) this is and where can I go to have it done? And how much would it cost me? Thank you so much....

You're not providing enough information. What point are you in within which process and with which Embassy will you be having your interview?

8-30-05 Met David at a restaurant in Germany

3-28-06 David 'officially' proposed

4-26-06 I-129F mailed

9-25-06 Interview: APPROVED!

10-16-06 Flt to US, POE Detroit

11-5-06 Married

7-2-07 Green card received

9-12-08 Filed for divorce

12-5-08 Court hearing - divorce final

A great marriage is not when the "perfect couple" comes together.

It is when an imperfect couple learns to enjoy their differences.

I believe for the most part it is simply called medical exam (you might want to throw in that it's for a K-1 fiance(e) visa). Some embassies might require that you have the medex at a specific place. For example, my fiancee can only go to St Luke's in Manila Philippines for her medex. I would check with your fiancee's embassy website (if they have one) or contact them somehow and inquire as to what they like for medex's. Hope that helps a little..Good luck!

Good point JenT,

OP, You need to identify your timeline and what Embassy you are processing through. This will facilitate a logical answer to your question. We await your response.

You're not providing enough information. What point are you in within which process and with which Embassy will you be having your interview?

Hi there! You have to go to a specific assigned doctor that embassy wants you to go to. If you want to find out what doctor before the embassy sends you the information then go to the embassy info link at the top of this page. Go to your countries embassy and they should give you a list. I would still wait until you at least receive packet three just because it will have all the info that you need. Good luck!!!

I have a feeling that the OP is the USC and thinks that it is they who should have an exam.

But can not be certain, a few other scenarios come to mind.

“If you know the enemy and know yourself, you need not fear the result of a hundred battles. If you know yourself but not the enemy, for every victory gained you will also suffer a defeat. If you know neither the enemy nor yourself, you will succumb in every battle.”
