It is hard to believe that you are upset that a doctor would want to make money. This is the way you liberals think every thing should be "free" if it is for the common good. I had a serious accident years ago and I hope the doctor that operated on me retires a millionare. She sure made my life more liveable. She was on call that night and she said she had not done an operation like mine since her residency. Maybe 20 years had passed. Her meat and potato aspect of her practice was carple tunnel. To walk up to someone like that and slight her for wanting to make some money after maybe 10 years of study is hard to fathom. Then you have some scum bag lawyer just waiting to take it from her. Anyone wanting to have their own business is scum to you liberals. In China during the cultural revolution they had "barefoot" doctors. They had a copy of Mao's little red book and were told to heal the masses while the real doctors were in the cowsheds. Sounds like you pray for this day to come to america. "Dr why are you in jail. My crime was I wanted to make some money as some liberal university charged me so much for all the book learning"

2 kids go to school to get higher educations:

1 Kid goes to school and becomes doctor=OK

1 Kid goes to school and becomes lawyer=scumbag

Hmmmm

As for liberals thinking "every thing should be "free" if it is for the common good", schools are not free, roads are not free and the military is not free. My guess is that you went to public schools in your life, my guess is that you drive on public roads, and my guess is that the US military has at some point in your life defended and protected your way of life. It seems you think things will get better when Chevron owns the roads and only a few select people can afford and education and the military is owned by ####### Cheney. I for one don't believe this for a second.

We became the great nation we are by having a government that does get involved, in a limited fashion, in the lives of its people. Providing basic services to its people is not necessarily a bad thing. And to think that you feel cheated because you see your tax dollars being spent on others when you yourself have benefited your entire life from those same tax dollars is laughable. I think the medical system is severely abused, the welfare system needs to be scrapped and our public schools need a lot of work, but these things are what made us strong and I for one, am supportive of the idea of basic services for all, but I do not support handouts.
