rfe for i-485

hello everybody...

i got a rfe for the adjustment of status form. i send them the wrong w2, i guess.... i wanna get it off my chest as soon as possible but am a little clueless, how to send the darn thing back. does anybody have an idea where i could find an example for a cover letter or something ?????

i wonder if anybody knows about how long it will put the whole process back...

also i tried to check on my status on the uscis page, but they wouldn't let me look at it. the side came up saying something about "The page must be viewed with a high-security Web browser" ... *whine* i'm using a laptop from home *confused*

We also got an RFE. The address is on the letter that they sent to you. It should be in Lee's Summit, MO. Make sure to include that letter with your additional evidence. I included a cover letter stating my husband's name, case number, DOB, A# and a brief description as to how what I enclosed fulfilled their request.

It's really hard to say how long the RFE sets your application back. You can see from my timeline, that my husband was approved fairly quickly, even with the RFE. Although I do believe it may have held up the EAD approval, but I can't be certain.

A cover letter isn't needed (as usual), but you should send back the letter they sent you for RFE back with your evidence.
