Well since we lost the oldest running thread on here, I thought I would start it over. It is a shame because there was so much useful information on it. :crying:

Met Feb. 2004

5/31/05 I-129F sent to California Service Center

6/18/2005 NOA1 received in snail mail. Dated 6/14/05

7/25/05 Case status updated online. Showed case has been approved.

7/27/2005 Received NOA2 in snail mail.

9/28/2005Sent an e-mail to the CSC asking where is my petition.

10-13-05[/color] Called NVC again. FINALLY! They said they received the file on 10-11-2005 and now issued me our case #.

10-19-2005 Case on the way to BKK:)

10/31/2005 Interview date assigned. 1/11/06

11/17/05 Interview date changed to DEC. 21, 2005

Dec.21, 2005APPROVED!

January 20, 2006 Ton and I arrive in Los Angeles

Feb. 8, 2006 Applied for SS#, Feb. 15 SS card received

March 31, 2006MARRIED!

JANUARY 16, 2007 AOS APPROVED

It was hard to sort through the 200+ pages to find anything anyway. Glad to have VJ back up and running...

12/15/2005 - Sent I-129F to Vermont Service Center

12/17/2005 - VSC receives I-129F via express courier (day 1)

12/23/2005 - VSC officially sends out NOA1 stating receipt

01/05/2006 - Called the National Service Center and got NOA1 receipt number.

01/10/2006 - NOA2 received via USCIS website and email. VSC is blazingly fast! (day 22!)

01/20/2006 - Receive NOA2 via snail mail in Thailand

01/26/2006 - Bangkok Embassy confirms our case is in their system (day 38)

01/30/2006 - Dropped off checklist and doc's with embassy

01/31/2006 - Received email from embassy confirming our interview date 3/20/06! Woohoo! (day 43)

02/08/2006 - Received police report and packet 4

03/01/2006 - Medical Exam completed

03/20/2006 - Interview! (day 91)- SUCCESS!

03/21/2006 - Picked up VISA!

04/04/2006 - Fly to USA together to get officially married in US and to start our life there together!

04/07/2006 - Arrived at JFK, C received temp EAD stamp. Drove to MD to live!

04/20/2006 - Applied for SS Card in maiden name, received it 3 days later

05/12/2006 - Officially married in the US! (2nd ceremony)

05/15/2006 - US Reception

05/16/2006 - Applied for new SS card with married name - Applied for EAD

06/01/2006 - Applied for AOS I-485

10/27/2006 - EAD Approved!

I would like to know if there is a list of all the members that are applying for visa's with fiances in Thailand? Kind of a suppport group dealing with the same Bangkok US Embassy.

2/20/06 Mailed in her Checklist and DS-230 P1-Never received her Packet 3 (Day 31)

3/06/06 Received Packet 4 in the mail (Day 45)

3/07/06 Mailed in 2 photos and copy of passport photo page

4/24/06 Interview BNK Embassy (Day 94)

4/25/06 Received K1 Visa

5/09/06 Entered the USA at POE Chicago

We will start the process of removing conditions next week. I am wondering if any American/Thai couples have any Thai specific stories or advice?

Do we have Sawasdee Lifting Condition? :innocent: we should!!! I'll need it soon enough lol

K-1 = 4 months

AOS = 5 months

I-751 = almost one year
