Yes, those ####### licking pieces of scum were laughing. Why did he strike it with that ax a few times? What about a clean kill? And why were they poking holes in the poor creature? Why laugh? WHY WHY WHY????!!! The pig was screaming and screaming and clearly terrorized. It must have known death awaited it.

He was. Mom used to say that he was her little dog. He was bigger than many small dogs. He was also a fastidiously clean cat. If the kitty litter wasn't up to his standards, he'd let you know by getting in your way when you walked. He used to eat 3-4 cans of tuna a day, looking back now I wonder if the tuna gave him the cancer that eventually got him. I would never feed my cats tuna now but back then no one knew about the high salt content or the pollutants in the ocean that end up in the tuna.

Animals aren't afraid to die. They are sinless because they lack free will. The miscreants in the video, on the other hand, have a lot to answer for. It won't be me that will sit in judgement of them, though.

That is a lot of food! I bet it was the mercury content that led to his cancer. I feed my cats tuna but only about twice a month, and no more. I have an 18 year old who is as spry as a kitten.

Somehow,I do not agree. I think animals ARE indeed afraid to die. Watch the videos on slaughter houses, etc., but do agree they are sinless. I also wholeheartedly believe they have souls. What does the Word say? ' Let EVERYTHING that has breath praise the L-rd.' If they are praising, do you think G-d would not want what He created to be with Him in paradise to further praise Him?Did He not make the donkey to talk? Did he not spare the animals during the flood? Will the Messiah come back the second time on a white horse? Think about it.

I think that we project our feelings onto animals. I suppose animals are afraid to die if they have attachments to this earth (i.e. if they are pets) but this talk is waaaay above my pay grade as is the question of whether animals have souls. Animals and everything else (the entire cosmos) praise him by doing his will. Human beings are something else. Are animals in Paradise, honestly, that is so far above my pay grade that a simple man like myself is in no position to make a guess. I worry about my soul and those of my fellow humans, that's all that I can do. HE does what HE will, HE tells me what HE will. I fear that I will tread perilously close to transgressing with speculation about HIM and HIS will.

Thank you for all the congratulations... I haven't been around because I have been spending my entire day either at the hospital with Anna or with the boys. I'm pooped. I just got home from feeding her I was at the NICU since 11pm and now it's 2:30. I can't wait till she's home, I'm worn out.
