I'm OK. I'm just peeing so much that I'm pizzed off.

Let’s see what happened today. I tried to get to sleep early but I thought that I’d be able to get by with the windows closed and no fan. The birds start the dawn chorus at 4ish and I’ve got a large cherry tree outside my window so it gets to be quite loud. I got up at 4:13AM (of course, AM, silly Cinco!) and turned on the fan. It ran nicely until it started to make an annoying clicking noise so I tilted it up slightly and got back to sleep at 4:45AM. I got up at 8ish and took a shower and shaved, etc. I must say this, I consider myself a fairly rugged individual (I think that I broke my foot but I’m still walking around in pain) but you ladies make me look like a wuss. Sus, Val, and anyone else who’s had to have an abdominal ultrasound, especially those of you who had to also deal with a pregnancy, I bow down to you and your the-Good-Lord-Made-Man-First-Then-He-Quit-Clowning-Around constitutions. :thumbs: After gulping down as much water as I could hold, I went to the ultrasound place and waited. I was told to drink a minimum of 4 glasses of water but the more the better. I think that I got down 10-11 before I figured that I had enough. After a wonderful wait of 30minutes I was called in and some nice lady pulled down my underwear, lubed me up and started probing my lower abdomen with a transducer. My genitalia (if that's what you want to call it :rofl: ) was covered by a towel; a very, very small towel. My bladder was full so it was so much fun when she pushed down HARD. I then was allowed to clean myself off (the cream sticks to hair a bit, so I’ll just leave it at that, you can figure out which hair), urinate and I then had more cream applied to my sides and upper abdomen. That was it. When she finished, she was nice enough to asked me if I was OK. My response was, “some nice lady just pulled down my underwear, rubbed goop all over me and I didn’t have to pay for it. I’m not complaining.”

I then went to the store and did a bit of shopping. I ended up in the express checkout. Two women in their early twenties (short blonde and tall brunette) were in front of me. They were not without their charms (they were not bad looking at all ) and were nattily (they looked just like Natty:rofl:) attired in tank tops, shorts and flip-flops. I had my hands full with my purchase (six loaves of bread) and the blonde who was talking incessantly did not put down the separator. I was a bit miffed but she did apologize, so I let it go. The store is one of those discount places (Val, it was a NO FRILLS) where you are supposed to bring your own bags or buy them or use some of the empty boxes from fruits, etc. that are left at the front of the store. The two women finished their order; the blonde, who had a nose stud, was paying the bill and the brunette went to get a suitable box. The blonde just finished paying when the brunette returned triumphantly and proclaimed loudly, “I’ve got a perfect box.” Her friend, the blonde, said almost as loudly, “that almost sounds dirty.” I, who had been trying to figure out how much my purchase was going to total, was taken aback as was the female cashier. All I could offer was, “I’m not saying a word, not a damn thing.” The blonde started laughing and the brunette looked a bit embarrassed and smiled, then they left the store. I paid for my items, while the cashier just smiled at me, looking like she was about to bust a gut laughing. I was going to say something about hair pie but since I was the only man in line and since I was trying to be good boy I just kept my mouth shut.

The rest of the trip out was uneventful, I did a bit more shopping and I went to see Momma. That’s about it.

BTW, I had a prostate exam last week (#######??????) and not only did the Urologist not give me a reach around but he didn’t even give me a referral to the Dallas Cowgirls. :crying: He hasn’t even given me a return call. I feel so cheap, so used. :crying:Actually I’m seeing him in two weeks, but I think that I’m still suffering from grief and nothing more. Bladder and urethral spasms caused by not eating or drinking is probably what I’m suffering from, along with esophageal and stomach spasms as well.
