I do not know Hal Gill.

He's with the Habs now. Big defenceman but he lacks good foot speed so that's a problem. I'm a traditionalist fish sticks and ketchup for me. Now I'd better return to the repast that is quickly cooling.

I half expected you to say Steve Shutt or Georges Vezina. :P My first hockey sweater was le tri-coleur and it was what I wore when I was on HNIC, but you already knew that.

the traffic shouldn't be too bad (the results of a recent study are in, Toronto traffic is officially the worst in North America) and it is lovely out so I, too, will make my escape.

It's always the Gardiner, the DVP and the 401 collector lanes that are at fault.

If you can stick to the 401 Express lanes or better yet the 407, it's not so bad.

If you can stick to the 401 Express lanes or better yet the 407, it's not so bad.

The 401 is a basket case. 407 is fine but I'm cheap. DVP is a real POS until you get past the 401 to Eglinton exits. Gardiner and QEW aren't as bad as the 401, at least you can see the SkyDome (sorry, Rogers Centre, $25M for a building that cost $625M, #######?????) but nobody figured out that Toronto was going to grow in population. Morons!!!!!! :angry:
