#1: Caps are plain awesome

#2: You will get more answers if you specify the country the interview will be happening at

#3: Check local boards since this is a region-specific question and you will get better answers (and exposure) there

Also, read the link at the top for embassy reviews. The consulate stage is not at all uniform. Seek out information specific to your country.

Yes you both can attend the interview. From what I have found out, the interview is very quick. Only last a few minutes in most cases. Here are some of the questions they may ask you. If you would like to know more just let me know. I have other info about the interview.

1. How long have you known your fiance?

2. How did you meet your fiance?

3. Have you ever been to the US before?

4. When is the last time you have seen your fiance?

5. When will you leave for the US?

6. When did you meet in person?

7. When did my fiance propose?

8. Why was my fiance's first marriage not working out?

9.Does my fiance have any kids? How many, how old, who do they live with?

10. When did my fiance divorce?

11. What is your fiance's birthday?

12. What are the names of your fiance's children?

13. How old are they?

14. Does my fiance have any brothers and sisters?

OP indicates that the consulate they will go through is Ciudad Juarez not Manila... The answer might be quite different than your experience

YMMV

As other people have already stated, you must ask other people who will be interviewing at the same consulate. The US Embassy in Bangkok does not allow the USC to attend the interview. I heard although do not know for a fact that a USC got upset during the interview and hit the Consular officer about two or three years ago. So Bangkok is different.

What Consulate will you interview at and only ask for answers from the Consulate. If it is Ciudad Juarez, they have their own thread in this forum just for CDJ. You should ask there.
