if I get a big box of chocolates I will eat them even faster... lol

Well, the first time my petition took 5 months too from the day I mailed it off until my NOA2.

Somebody seems to be sitting on our petitions or maybe they moved them to the basements..lol.

I hope I dont have to do this a third time :x

I hope so too. I have lost my patience here.

I am starting to believe they moved our paper at the bottom of the pile and I also think they dont go by months. I thought they work on them by month ? But I am starting not to believe this anymore since people in May and June already got approved.

I hopeeeeeeeee this is our week.

I am too but I see others who are still waiting from April and that gives me some hope that it hasn't been lost or totally forgotten.

As for the claim that "petitions are processed in the order they are received", I wonder how the person who wrote that can sleep at night.

I dont want to talk to our senator - they were a total waste of my time when I needed help so that our petition can stay in Brazil.

I sure would like to know how this IO can sleep at night after he returned our petition, it sure caused my ALOT of stress.

I am sure our turn will come, lets just be a little more patient.

This waiting game is difficult for all of us. Some days, harder then others! Frustrating too, and even though happy for those in Vancouver getting interviews and approvals - Montreal is sooooo slow. I keep telling myself...one day closer.Hang on everyone - we will get there!

It's Friday. VSC, NOA2 this week, please.. Please, please, please...

And, I just stopped myself from looking at the USCIS site. I've decided that I'm going to let the news come to me. It can't be healthy to check it 7-8 times a day only to see the same, unchanged 'last updated' date again and again. (I won't call the automated system either!)

Good luck, Oasis, and to anyone else still awaiting their NOA2.

yes please please please NOA2 today.....another week has past VSC. And tomorrow I will 4 months since sending it in.... I have a feeling its gonna be 5 months on the dot.

I check a few times a day too, need to stop it cause its not healthy. Its upsetting to me logging in there and looking at the same last updated "July 16" and when you see 2 cases in there like mine... its even more upsetting... the old one has been last updated " Junexx" forgot the date. I have a feeling my case takes a bit longer just because I have 2 petitions going here... urggggggggghhhhhhhhhhhhh let me just scream right now. I only called the automated system a couple of times.... :(

Oasis, before I got teh NOA2 I would check every morning to see if teh "bubble" moved on teh USCIS webiste ...my coworker woudl always be telling me "don't do it...you are just going to be sad again..." anyways I always would anyway and well....the bubble never did move I'm still in intial processing.....we found out via the hardcopy reaching my fiance through snail mail. Th epoor guy got it and was tryign to share the news but NO ONE would pick up the phone :s My MOH and I were out dress shopping adn I just figured he was reminding me to bring soemthing when i went to visit him the next day.....well just before store closing my MOH was like dude your FI has called 3-4 times and left VM's for you to call him (no one ever calls her cuz she never picks up) sure enough my phone had like 7 missed calls....when we got hom i found out my MOH husband was even called by my FI in attempts to find me lol. I finally called him back (standing in the bridal shop in a wedding dress) and he told me the good news :D I started to cry and shout and people looked at me funny but thats ok. So hang in there guys it will come at the moment you least expect it!

Don't forget ...USC gets mail on saturday too so if not today maybe tomorrow....

My NOA1 date is 4 months ago tomorrow. VSC received it on 4/17 but that was a Saturday and they didn't touch it until Mon 4/19, of course... And, I don't know if it's because of the 2 petitions you have. I only have the one (and what I thought was a simple one, at that!) and it's not helping me any.. I do call the automated system once every few days using Skype just because I learned that that is the only way I could call them from Colombia. It's set up to call so when I'm home, I just do it in hopes that the info will be different than the web site..

I just want some good news before I go back to Colombia in two weeks. I don't want to spend part of every day getting online to check for my NOA2 on this trip but will need to if I don't already have it, mainly because I don't want any last second RFEs coming in while I'm down there. I don't know what I'd do if I return to an RFE and find out that I only have a couple of days to respond, especially if it requires something from her..
