JVF, I saw your story. Unbelievable! Ok, not really given who we're dealing with... I hope that if it comes to that, they pick up where they left off when they receive the reconstructed petition, stamp it 'Approved' and send it straight to NVC for you...

Now, off to the USCIS website to be utterly disappointed yet again...

I think it sucks that you guys are still waiting. I know July is their busiest month which is why they sent the June and July files to Texas for processing but why didnt they send all files waiting for processing? Incredibly unfair and I feel for you all

Thank you Ron Ted and I are doing fine as things have moved quickly since NOA2 - been through NVC, recieved packet 3 and everything is ready to go back to the consulate now, just waiting for the results of my medical to arrive next week and then I'll be sending it all off. Anticipated interview at this stage is end August/early September and hoping for a POE at LAX end October My relationship with my love is as smooth as ever, just counting the sleeps til I can curl back in his arms again

Hello everyone. I filed on April 29, 2010.

Funny, how quickly they cashed the check (I guess they have enough people to do that) and how long this whole process takes. They should hire ex petitioners I am sure things would be moving a lot quicker

I filed on April 2 and am still waiting. My file was "touched" on April 22 when I updated my address. Should I be worried that there hasn't even been a touch since, never mind communication of any kind?

Hey Eliza no nothing to worry about yet I dont think - if you look at Ryna's timeline he's had nothing since April either. I find it incredulous that same people get left waiting whilst others move forward yet they all filed at the same time and its supposed to be a first come first serve basis. Ugh the system needs an overhaul!

hey eliza, ours also hasn't been touched since the NOA1 on april 27... radio silence. i'm trying not to get worried but it's hard not to feel stressed out. just changed my address, hopefully that will get someone looking at our file... good luck!

Thanks all. I was just having a case of the 100 day blues plus it was another week of hearing nothing.

I'm not worried so much by the amount of time it's been, but I am a little bit by the amount of time versus some others. But, many have just received their NOA2s after 80 or 90 days, so I'm not going to worry too much - yet. Most April filers weren't in that 8-20 day approval group so I realize that those petitions were processed under vastly different conditions.

For those of use still waiting, I'm really hoping this is our week. There's not much we can do about it until September anyhow.

I hope so too that this is out week cause I am on my second leg. Its my second time around.... and I am getting just a little antsy over here.

I can only log on to the uscis.gov so many times a day.

Ohh I did call VSC on Friday, they could not tell me anymore then I already know.

I just called the Dept of State to check if my Application Arrived.. I was told they received it on 28 July, and sent it to Bogota on 29 July.. Looks like everything is going as expected.. (Fingers Crossed)

touched today! i think it was only because i updated my address, but i'm really hoping it's a sign of good things to come this week for those of us still waiting...
