You need 2 photos for each application form, i.e. 2 for I-485, 2 for I-765 and 2 for I-131.

I think you should apply for I-131, it's not hard to apply for it and it could be good use when there's an emergency back at home between now and getting a green card.

You don't have to submit any photos at all, they don't require any evidence of relationship except for the marriage cert.

Oh and make sure you compile all the documents according to the forms, I-485 and then all the documents needed, I-765 with documents, etc...

good luck :)

G-1145 is a notification form that allows the USCIS to send email and/or text msg correspondence in the event of package acceptance/arrival.

Somebody else mentioned that pictures, etc. are not required...but I highly recommend them. I've seen a lot of people get through with hardly any proof of a relationship at all besides the marriage cert. but you may find that it pays off later on to submit that little bit of extra proof just in case you get a stingy USCIS filer... I personally submitted pictures of us before, during, and after our wedding. Other things that aren't required but that we submitted and you may want to consider:

Bank letter (letter from your bank/credit union stating that you hold a joint bank account with each other)

phone/utility bills (with both of your names on the bill)

Letter stating that you are both still actively involved in your relationship

Affidavit from an individual/individuals who know you, stating that your relationship is bona fide

You don't want to overload your package, but throwing extra bits and pieces in was not only kind of fun to do, but it took a lot of pressure off to know that there was less of a chance for us to receive something from USCIS saying that they needed more proof that our relationship was real.:)

We met in October 2007 and our immigration journey started in July 2008 when we filed for the I-129F Fiance Visa petition.

I think it's ok to include all of this, but usually these are things you are supposed to show at the interview, which is definitely an important step for them if they want to verify the bona fide of the marriage. Filing all the forms makes you ELIGIBLE to get a green card because you are married and the marriage certificate serves that purpose, it doesn't have to prove anything about the relationship, whereas the interview does
