So my application was approved on the 11th, AOS packet that is - and then I was told that I was mailed an approval notice on the 16th (March). We had a few problems with the mailbox and our mail was being forwarded, so the letters may have all been returned to the USCIS as non-forwardable. This isn't the issue!

I called the USCIS the other day and filed an address change with them which was confirmed etc, but then I get an e-mail saying that my packet has been transferred to the California Service Center - the weird part was it was sent today, but dated for January 29th... Should I be worried or is this just the system being stupid?! Kind of worried that they might have called back my approval for some strange reason...

Anyone else experienced anything like this?!

Thanks in advance!

About the transfer notice - just a guess that the system is either delayed (since you were transfered in Feb.) or just being odd.

I'd work on that mailbox problem - put your name inside the mailbox (on inside of lid, or someplace the carrier will see it) just in case.

The Green card will be mailed from CSC, so perhaps they are resending your Green Card? Just a thought.

Yeah I had a feeling maybe they sent it back to the CSC to be mailed out to my new address... The new address is on file now, I called again to make sure so it's just a waiting game again. The annoying thing is I do have a job interview at Disney World on Tuesday so I don't know if I'm going to have an issue there because I'm probably going to have to tell them I'm waiting for my green card to be delivered, I figured if I take my confirmation print out with me it's some sort of proof, just got to hope for the best. I'm aware that I can't start working until the green card is physically in my hand.
