The OP has his own definition of the word label.

IMO, labels are there to aid in organizing things around us. As we have known, family names didn't exist before. Having family names is synonymous to labeling but it serves the society positively the way we label streets, buildings, various species, etc.

On the other hand...

that may have been how they originated but when talking about the labels i offered up I think most of the time they serve to inflame and seperate us(esp in the political sense), and that is not to say that i think seperation or inflamation are bad things. i mean should the good(label) really aspire to be friendly to the evil(another label)

this has kind of taking into a humor/philosophical tangent that i really didnt intend. i was hoping to have a political/religious discussion over this.

You must have known that I meant the real (original) Celtic druids who had established sacred groves in Anglesey.

The druids weren't vicious. They had a good relationship with nature and their people. However, out of desperation and extreme stress stirred by Roman occupation, they resorted to human sacrifice and cannibalism which weren't really like them. That was what I wanted to hear from you.

Uki, bro, I will not continue. I don't want to make my Maundy Thursday dark. Besides, I don't enjoy swimming in the murky waters of politics and religion. If you make a lighter and fun thread, we could meet again.
