I'm not sure, if you are adjusting from a family-based immigrant visa (K-1) then the process, as I understand it, is a bit different. I hope so though!

Every spouse of a US citizen only takes 3 years to be eligible for citizenship

if nt the rules just changed

military is 3 years but u cn apply after 2 years n civilian i believe is 5 years

BUT IT SEEMS LIKE THEY LOOK AT MY CASE EVERY WEDNESDAY SOMETIMESFRIDAY BUT EVERY WEDNESDAY THEY TOUCH MY CASE

do you guys notice ur case being touched on certain days?

Is there really any significance to an interview being held in the afternoon? It seems like BS to me, but any little thing is making me worry. I know Buffalo is an extremely busy USCIS office being right on the Canadian border and figure it's just the time they can squeeze us in. I'm just so nervous and reading things on here doesn't help sometimes.

when u got ur interview letter in the mail ...did they inform u dat it was sent before u got it?

coz me i sent them back the RFE on the 15th, they ordered the production on the 16th approved the AP on the 16th also andi see that they ooked at the 485 on the 18 so im guessing that they maybe sent my letter I HOPEEEEEEEEEEEEEE SO

but for my 485 it still says that they got my response n will review it

my 131 says that its still under initial review but i got it two days ago ummm

but back tot he question, did they alert u before they sent it?

No they didn't. The last time my I-485 was touched was on 10th June. I got my interview letter on 21st June. My online status still says it's on RFE. Don't pay too much attention to the online thing, it's slow and not accurate.

Nope 5 years is for other people, spouses get are eligibile in 3. Here:

The instructions say

"Who may file" (I quote the relevent parts)

2. A lawful permanent resident for at least 3 years and at least 18 years old.

AND

You have been married to and living with the same U.S. Citizen foe the last three years.

AND

Your spouse has been a U.S. Citizen for the last three years.

So yay for everyone!
