@Nartaki and @Alla

Hey, I sincerely appreciate your help. However, I don't appreciate treating me like an idiot.

So, let me restate what I said initially, and instead of assuming fault or stupidity on my part, just let me know if I should have gotten the return receipt by this time.

I have sent the I-130 concurrently with I-485 for an AOS by certified mail. In order to get a return receipt, it is required to have delivery confirmation (which includes signature confirmation). So, through the prerequisites of a return receipt (i.e., checking online), I know that USCIS received my March 28th-sent package on March 31st. However, to this day, I have not yet received the return receipt (a physical copy which I requested).

So, has anyone else requested a return receipt, and if so, should it take this long to get it when it only took three days to send the package?

Thanks, and I do appreciate any and all help!

I got mine like 3 weeks after my package was delivered, even after I received my Bio appointment letter.

Not sure how important for you to have it, it is just what it is, receipt....

But I am sure that you will have it shortly.

03/01/2010 - Package was delivered (Day 1)

I just got a Rejection Notice yesterday for incorrect check amount (two checks for $930 and $80. I sent one for $1010).

I'm shocked. What do I do? Send two checks and return the documents as they have sent them, along with the rejection notices? Or just keep the rejection notices and send everything else? What about the rejected checks? Keep them too or send them out again?

Please help! =(

I have been scouring the internet (and my wife on a Korean site for married Korean women in USA called MissyUSA) and found this apparently has only happened to people from NYC (at least from the posts we found), and even then, it is a hit or miss. It's very unlikely you will be rejected for the same reason.

So weird...

That's sucks. On the instruction says that it's ok to make one combine check but they rejected because of that? #######.

Send whole pkg along with rejection notice so that at least you can show that you did what they ask.

Hope everything goes well.

hello there!

I'm about to send my application today. I-485 and I-130. I can't believe the time it took to put everything together, and now that I'm about to send my precious package, I admit being very nervous (I've went through the package a several time already to make sure everything is there!) Do you have a recommendation on witch company I should use? I think I'm going to use USPS, the simplest, but if you have tips, i'll be hapy to hear them!

SO I guess, I'm now in the April filers boat now! I hope the journey will not be too long for us!

have a great one (day and journey!)

I sent USPS priority mail with signature confirmation. It cost me about $10 and I could track it online. They delivered on Sunday.

It's not worth it to overpay for the same service.
