That's strange, they usually update your case right away and in couple days also. When did you do your bio, on 22nd ? And was any update that day?

that is strange they updated my AOS and EAD forms the same day the 19th i did my biometrics.

Maybe they had a lot of applicants?

Havent heard anything since the Biometrics update, been 13 daysm keeping my fingers crossed everything is going well

I don't think this is "normal" but it probably doesn't mean anything. The online system is not very useful. We have received an interview letter, but there are no changes in our status, no touches, nothing. I read this a lot. There is nothing online, and suddenly people jump into card production, etc. If you did the biometrics, I'm sure your cases were touched. Probably it just didn't get into the system. I mean, even if they ran your prints and found out you were Bin Laden, that would be a touch. Noth says they are going to start using a different software. In the meantime, in a lot of cases this system seems to cause more worry than it relieves.

it was just like that. It seems nobody else here had that many emails/texts. I am just hoping to get my interview letter and/or EAD card.

This is ridiculous I am going to phone them today to see what is going on. I must be one of the only ones that haven't received their biometrics yet. I knew it would cause a problem when we sent off the I-130 before we sent the I-485 stuff off. Also my I-797 has not been touched since 27th April

I finally got the RFE letter in the mail today.

they're asking for us to submit a complete Federal Income Tax Return submited to the IRS for the most recent tax year.

I don't really understand what they want since we gave them every document we had regarding my Hubby's taxes. Is there a document more recent than 2009?

the later told me that they make mistakes a lot bout 864 ...so they read all the way true

mine ws a mistake also i sent them everything , i just resent them the sam ee things

with a note inside stating that those documents were sent etc etc

u be ok just do it as soon as possible

n btw the text forms i sent were for 2009

theyy updated my cases pretty late in the past

i got the rfe n sent it back two days after it arrived they updated it

but they didnt tlll me on time that i had an rfe

Try to call the 1800 customer number, or make an infopass appointment to your local uscis office.

Both of them should be able to send a request regarding to your biometric schedule.

I phoned that number today. Told me that I should receive my biometric appt 30 days from the date of when they received my RFE stuff (which was the 19th May).

Unfortunately my local USCIS office is in Anchorage, which is a 7 hour drive from here. We just went down there a few weeks ago to discuss my RFE, and I don't fancy going down there again unless it is for my biometrics!!

Hey guys! I received my EAD card in the mail yesterday =)

Not too sure what is the next step for me! I was on F-1 and now on OPT (well I guess now that I have my new EAD card, I am no longer on OPT). My mum who is a permanent resident sponsored me back in February 2006 when I was 17 (Category 2A for I-130 petition) and finally sent in the AOS April this year when I my priority date was current. Completed my biometrics early May so will the next step be the interview?? I see people who had their biometrics around the same time as mine and they received their interview letter! Hope my EAD didn't slow down the application sigh...
