Thanks sensii! I'm going to try to do a walk-in in Dallas and am debating if I should try and go before next Wednesday (now that everyone is saying that Wednesday is the day to go).

HI guys! My husband recieved his biometrics on Tuesday and he walk inned the same day! Then when we got home we called to expedite it....we figured we would be denied since most people seem to but they didnt deny us! they gave us the opportunity to fax them additional information. Last night we faxed them over 28 pages of supporting documentation! :blink:

We figred the more evidence the better...we also sent a letter to our senator who said that he would forwward a support letter to USCIS. I hope it works my hubby needs to work :blush:

03/2010- Got married!

04/22/2010- Filed AOS, I-130, EAD and AP

04/29/2010- Recieved NOA's via text

04/30/10- All 4 hard copies NOA

05/04/2010-All files touched!

05/24/10- Recieved Biometrics appointment 06/16/2010

05/24/10- Walkin Biometrics-DONE!

05/24/10- Expedite EAD request through USCIS

05/25/10-I485 & I765 touched :)

05/25/10- Email from CRIS requesting extra documents for expedite to be faxed

05/25/10- Faxed evidence, including support letter from congressman (28 pages)

05/26/10- Email from CRIS thy recieved and are reviewing expedite evidence

05/26/10- @8:15pm- email that EAD card production ordered!!! AP also approved today! Yay!

05/27/10 I765 & I131 touched!

06/01/10- Recieved our Advance Parole...but where's our EAD card!!!

06/04/10-EAD sent in the mail!!

06/10/2010- AOS Interview letter recieved!! wow! 7/14/2010-oops! hehe

07/14/2010- AOS interview- Approved (less than 15 minutes)

Now I believe everybody received their biometrics letters. Right?! :thumbs:

nop! still waiting for mine and the RFE letter....crying.gif

Tomorrow I will call them because it's been a month today since they accepted my file!

That reminds me that the first time I came to the US, i had to stop in Chicago for a few hours before i flew to Cali. They lost my luggage there, full of my best clothes, never found it back...

I hope, it's not some king of cursing that make everything mine that comes from chicago get lost or stollen in the process....

I'm very desperate right now sad.gif

good news guys! They approved our EAD and sent us a notice: Card production ordered!! YES! I am so blessed and happy! My hubby too! Funny thing is they also approved our Advance Parole! We were not expecting that until closer to interview time, but wer are happy! :dance::dance::dance::dance:

03/2010- Got married!

04/22/2010- Filed AOS, I-130, EAD and AP

04/29/2010- Recieved NOA's via text

hey, yes, you should call since its been a month after they received your applications.

I called the customer service right after 30 days(on Friday) and they sent a service request to immigration office,and i got the inquiry of service request in mail on Tuesday 18th May (and dated on Friday 14th May).

And they sent the biometric letter on Tue(May 18th) and another exactly same one on Wed (May 19th).

If u don't receive the bio letter after 30 days, I would suggest to go ahead and call the 1800 number, and wish you best luck to speak to a knowledgeable person on the phone so that he/she knows what he/she is doing and make the best for you!!!

I did my walk-in today, Wednesday. I couldn't wait till the next week as I originally planned!!!

I came at 2:50 pm and there were 3 people in front of me. Security guy was very serious, gave my app. letter to the supervisor.

Supervisor then came and told me I could do it but they have people scheduled for 3 pm so I have to wait.

I noticed another 2 people came in while this was going on and that was it. Then I went ahead and nobody came after me.

I left 3:25 pm. They were open until 4 pm.

So it looks like in general they have last appointments scheduled for 1 hour before closing. Then that might be a good time to go too.

Doesn't have to be exactly Wednesday.

Although I think that human factor is playing the biggest role.

Good luck! Crossing my fingers!

Finally my EAD was approved today. I had to submit a lot of stuff regarding finances and also treatment list from my medical records.
