We went to the Manhattan place and they were very nice. We went on Friday afternoon, around lunch time, and the security guard told us they only do walk-ins on Wednesday. After he told us that, he said, "but I'll let you go." It was COMPLETELY empty, and we finished in less than 10 minutes (we were surprised how fast it was too).

My wife is so cute: she asked if she could see the photo the biometric people took, and if she didn't like it, I think she was going to ask them to take it again!

Well i hope they will take me tommorrow but if not I will be sure to ask if they have a day they take walk-ins and if they say they dont have such a day I will try to Manhattan location. Tomorrow I am going to the closest location which is the queens woodside office. Hope they are equally nice there.

LOL I will just be happy they will take me early, not worry bout the picture.

to be honest he has been sort of rude from the beginning, if you read his first post he asked a question, got a response but the manner in which he told the helper that wasnt what he meant i believe

Its a gamble, but maybe your right, maybe waiting for the whole thing and then submitting it all together could have taken later then getting a RFE and submitting it now. Well be sure to go to a civil

We just got an electronic notice for an RFE on the I-485 form. I wonder what they could want?! Everything that can go wrong is going wrong. =( First the mess with the check and now this.

Does anyone know if this will affect the processing times of the I-765 and I-131 as we need those ASAP.

ugh, this is the negative of being able to check online. You know you got a RFE and you have to wait for the letter to see what it is for. Annoying! It would drive me crazy, well i figured it takes like 5-6 days to get letters from them to NYC since they do something so you will prob know in a couple of days.(I calculate this based on the fact that our forms were touched 5/5 and the biometrics letter was dated 5/5 and i got the actual letter 5/11, which seems kinda long, come on Chicago is only like a 15 hr drive! lazy USPS! ) Hang in there!

I Received the letter for the interview yesterday, It is scheduled for June 14 at 2PM... I am so excited!!

My attorney received an RFE for us today. Nothing to worry about, it's for my Joint Sponsors 2009 Tax Return, we were expecting it anyways. He just hadn't filed his taxes when we filed the package. So I gotta drive from Buffalo to Syracuse over the weekend, to pick the documents up.

Biometrics Appointment is on Monday.

Everything is going well.

Freaked out.

July 12 Made Info-Pass. They couldn't find my file, then when they did, they told me it had been transferred to the military unit, and they didn't understand why I mailed them my hubby's direct deposit account, so they didn't update anything. They guy at the military unit asked me a few questions, and told me he would make his decision within 2 days.

July 14, 2010 @ 8.02am Email and Text from USCIS "Card Production Ordered".

YESTERDAY: Biometrics for June 7th. Also got a call from my doctor, I am pregnant! Due Jan 18. And my sister found out she is also pregnant due Jan 15th. LOL My husband was like, I can't take any more news, I am still inshock about my wife..lol

im thinkking that if it states the name of the place you have to go, you can google it n see? maybe?
