Lol, okay :D

Sensii, relax and take a deep breath. If USCIS said that it was mailed by mistake then you are fine and they will just resume your case.

I could see how nervous you were while typing those posts. I know it's frustrating to receive such "a joke" but stay calm.

You will be just fine!! :luv:

If they won't send you an e-mail back, call them again and ask if everything is resumed now.

Thats exactly why next to questions which may have looked weird to them, i wrote a note: see attached explanation...

I know! I didn't get a letter today either. So now I'm tired of checking every day like crazy and stalking a mailman. :P

But I see that somehow USCIS slowed down this month , may be because of increasing number of petitions.

just our luck USCIS slowing down in april. Its probably the start of warm weather in chicago and the officials are going for Loooonnngggg lunches outside to enjoy the weather... lol (one of my theories, more petitions seems valid also lol)

Lets just try to remind ourselves that compared to a couple of years ago USCIS got their processing faster anyway.

ps: I dont really like the united states postal service either, they dont seem to not reliable somtimes.

Seems like Im always waiting for some mail, i am not also waiting for UPS cuz i did some online shopping (to much free time with the internet  )

Well have a Great Day Everyone! :luv:(F)

So I got a RFE on April 27. They wanted me to send (again) the medical reports form. Instead of and USCIS address, the letter I got said I should sent additional evidence (i.e. medical form) to Department of Homeland Security po box. It's weird because I did sent the medical form in my initial application. I contacted my civil surgeon and I sent the form again last friday. However, I haven't received any notices or don't even knot if they got my additional evidence.

I already went to the biometrics appointment though

any similar stories?

[May 11, 2010]: Medical form received. Case transferred to Natl. Benefits Center

[May 07, 2010]: Sent RFE, medical form. Asked my civil surgeon to print another form.

[May 05, 2010]: Biometrics appointment

[April 27, 2010]: Received RFE, they lost medical form

[April 19, 2010]: Received biometrics appointment

[April 19, 2010]: Received NOAs for I-130

[April 16, 2010]: Received NOAs for I-485, I-765, I-131.

[April 12, 2010]: Checks cashed. Case established on USCIS website. [Day 9]

[April 12, 2010]: Received text messages and eight emails from USCIS with MCS number [Day 9]

[April 5, 2010]: AOS package received and signed by USCIS [Day 2]

[April 3, 2010]: Sent AOS package to Chicago lock box - I-130, I-485, I-765, I-131, G-1145

[March, 2010]: Married

Such things happen. That's why on every website(even USCIS) it's suggested to mail each form in a folder with a pocket or put a rubber band on the stock of papers. USCIS sometimes misplace papers if they are hanging out or fall off.

Sorry to hear about your RFE... It must be noted that a RFE can be sent at anytime during the AOS process regardless of completed Biometrics and/or Interview letter.

Glad you sent it off in a timely manner and hope for all the best. http://www.visajourney.com/wiki/index.php/Request_for_Evidence

I would suggest calling after completing the biometrics. I called yesterday but received a rejection for the expedite request stating that there is a high volume for such request and that I did not have any evidence (although the customer service rep told me I did not need to send in anything!). I got another advice to contact my local congressman and send in an expedite request through his office so I will keep you guys posted on that!
