Question guys, why do they take your EAD and Advance Parole Document?

So is it advisable to apply SSN when your EAD arrives before your interview so you'll have your SSN earlier? :unsure:

Cos you don't need AP and EAD anymore once you have a green card in hand which allows you to do both...hehehehe...but on the other hand, i would love to keep it as "souvenirs" lol, esp the EAD card cos I love keeping cards with my photo ID on it..lol

Yea. It serves as a remembrance of all the anxiety and worries it took for us to finish with this process. Hehe!

Another question:

I didnt apply for AP, could I travel overseas using the conditional green card?

Coca cola: yea I applied as soon as I got my EAD cuz u have to wait a week or two 2 get a ss card. So after the interview u wait for ur GC 2 weeks and another 2 weeks for SS card...

So if u need a ss card (if ur in a hurry 2 work or u want 2 get a drivers license) I would apply as soon as u get ur EAD

Less than 2 wks till the interview for me.

But wish me luck tomm, I am having surgery for all 4 wisdom teeth to be taken out. Gulp!! :( I'm scaredd!!

When do u have the ticket for? How long after the interview? If its just a few days after, u might have 2 schedule a info pass appnt 2 get a stamp or ask them 4 a stamp after the interview.
