Thank ya mami... Girl, its been crazy busy lol... I dont know his mom's address per se (she aint my fave ) But I know its brown st, Wilmington DE. As long as you know the city and town, you'll be fine. Then ya might wanna know what the parents do for a living (generally speaking) and the month/year or month/day of the MIL and FIL.

Actually, I had to remind him to call his mom's for her bday this year. Thank goodness they don't ask about nieces and nephews cause my husband would have a conniption, I have 9 nieces and nepwhew. Even me being their aunt has problems keeping their names straight .

Being serious:

Why don't you explain the officer everything, I don't think they are so cold blooded. Also if you will be approved on spot you can leave that day. And ask your hubby to send you GC to your father's adress, so you can enter US. They don't check it when you leave, only when you enter. Stay strong!

Well sweety enjoy your vacation! Time with family is a great way to reduce stress before..the BIG DAY!

AFM: I got my HBA1C(diabetic test) back it was 5.4. Wonder if after the stress, it will go lower. I am on insulin for the little baby and everyone is HEALTHY. Thanks be to God! Now if I can rid this last little bit of stress.... ahhhhhhhh

We weren't asked anything like that. However, my husband did get our daughter's birthday wrong. He remembered the month and year, but not the date. It's a cultural things. Meanwhile, that morning he went over all my 7 brothers and sisters and their spouses, and all my 19 nieces and nephews and whom they belong to.

Don't ask me his family's details, though. He has so many siblings, he can't even remember how many are still living, and we are lucky he remembers his own birthday. I know the names and birth order of his 4 siblings born to his mother, and I know the children of all his sisters, but he's not sure how many children his brother has.

Oohh my EAD got touched again for the 3rd time in the past week, but still only that one email. Hopefully their system is weird 4got 2 send me the email but they did send me the EAD I hope!

I got an email on the 2nd:

On July 2, 2010, we ordered production of your new card. Please allow 30 days for your card to be mailed to you. If we need something from you we will contact you. If you move before you receive the card, call customer service at 1-800-375-5283.

then it was touched again on the 5th...

and today I check USCIS and says same thing but with July 8th..

Hopefully that means the final touch and they sent out my CARD!

Anyone got their SSN number yet? I wish I'd waited until after my interview to be honest. I can't apply for any jobs without an SSN so I called the offices to see how long it's gonna take. They said it could take 3 more weeks as they have to 'verify' my documents with DHS. Whatever the hell that means. Cause y'know, I sat there and made my own EAD with my bare hands!!!! ARGGGGGGGGGGGGHHHHHHHHHHH!!!!!!!!!! I can getting annoyed because we can't live on my husbands salary forever, things are tight and I want a job. I've not worked for 6 months and it's driving me crazy. When I went to apply they looked at me like I was a piece of #######. And the woman I spoke to on the phone was rude and I was told I'd just have to be patient. All I want to do is become a functioning member of society and pay my taxes yet I was treated like all of the other bums that have been on SS benefits all their lives!

Jeez, that was a rant. But I'm getting so frustrated.

hey hun, but i mean if u waiting till u got ur greencard I think they also have to verify ur info before they issue You a SS number. And it would probabably take longer, cuz after the interview it takes like 2 wks to get ur greencard? and this way u should have a SS number by the time u go to ur interview. Offcourse after u get ur GC u will have to go to them anyway for them 2 take off the restrictions, but hey then it should be alot faster.

Yea i am also waiting for my EAD to go rush over and get a SS number and wait for that :/

GIRL, me too. If i dont "remind" him to call his ppl, he dont. Im closer to them than he is, though I can see why lol
