Senseii, I thought you overstayed... am I mixing this up with something else?

If you overstayed more than 180 days, then you can't use AP anyway, and will have to wait for the stamp or the actual greencard. (I am not sure if it was less than 180 days). I think all you can do is express to the officer that you'd like the stamp because you want to visit your father. Maybe giving the details of why you want the stamp would get you more action.

Also, that ***removed*** link is useful, but is a bit out of date. You only get 2 copies of the AP, and they don't look like a passport... And I called CBP and was told NOT to fill out a new I-94... I am wondering who get what copies... We are flying in a couple days... will be interesting... I guess we'll find out!!

AND CONGRATS BESA!!

Sweety, I would say after the interview, be honest with the IO. Tell them how ill your father is and you need to visit incase something horrible happens. They have fathers too, we are human and when our loved ones do fall ill, we want to be with them to say we love them. Explain that and take some proof, even if it is a letter from another family member. It can't hurt. If it was my father I would tell them, they should be sympathic to that, especially with proof.... It is you DAD!!! Not the neighbor down the street. You're in my prayers!

My hubby laughed at the are you married question..lol I live in PA, I'll be going to Pittsburgh office... Infact I pass the office everyday on the bus. I can almost see it from my house.. what a NICE reminder..lol

With questions, just relax. They know you are stressed to the max! When my hubby gets nervous it takes him awile to comprehend... which make me nervous. I already know I am in for "QUESTION HELL" and I am expecting us to be separated. We are planning for that. Since we are nervous we always talk about all our first cute moments and favorite memories, funny things the kids have done. I am not worried about the family questions since we see my parents all the time and I speak to his family almost once a week even if it is just a "assalam alaikom" in Arabic. I am excited because this weekend because I get to see them on webcam:) We do that about once a month, I love seeing my little neices.. Jannah and Jannet and little Mariam.. omg so sweet. Beside it helps you with you... getting ready to fight and reminds what is important.. YOUR FAMILY.. and Love does conquer all. "Amor Vincit Omnia"

I also expect to be separated, but it is in the best case of scenario. In the worst we will have a second interview. I don't know why but I'm getting ready for the 1hr interview or to be called for the second. :bonk:

I'm not worried about questions and interrogations, I worry about starting crying right away if IO will be mean...

Ladies, here is what believe will happen for you two.

Everything will be ok, the IO will question you ladies and that's it. No second interview, no seperation, just one interview :innocent: .

I believe that we manifest things to happening by constantly thinking about the situation. That being said, I'm just putting out possitive energy for you ladies that everything is going to go as planned and the trend will continue (APPROVED @ INTERVIEW BABY). Now, all I need to do is follow my own advice . I swear, your mind is a terrible thing sometimes.

Jannah, I'm still waiting for your ex's name (lol). I didn't forget :hehe: .

Harpa , how are you holding up?

Yes Krys, we are all a bit obsessive over this (myself worse than others). And we need to stop! :) We will all be fine, let's push the good love around :)

Krys, thanks for asking. I am okay, more worried about my upcoming trip than anything and this whole AP thing. No interview letter still, but EAD receied and my husband applied for SSN yesterday, so by the time we get back, he'll be good to go! He's excited to find a job!

Very true hun, thanks for the reminder. Possitive thinking does go a long way. Every night after my last prayer, I take time and relax, even invision meeting the IO, she is nice and understanding and I explain everything and she agrees. In a way, I hope it is the same IO I had before, I think she MIGHT have an understanding of what happened. Don't think she will "remember me" but she might recall certian things, maybe she had some flags in her head.. who knows.

I have my clothes ready :P but not all my papers..lol

This weekend we are enjoying the kids, so the following is my "CRACK DOWN" We will go over everything and make our binders and copies of everything.

My kids made Walaa a picture for "father's day" should I add that to show how much he is apart of the kids lives?? or do you think that is too much? I have pics they made for me, but one is me walking home from work in the rain and being hit by lightening.. that might do more harm the good..lol I will have to scan it in and share, you guys will laugh your butts off... :P

I am confused myself. Three weeks ago Falafel had interview at the same office and said passport was stamped. But yesterday I talked to a lawyer who said she has been going to that office for almost 20 yrs and few years ago they stopped stampng, I guess it is up to the individual officer. I am actually not only confused but FREAKING OUT..... i ll problably stop checking this thread few days before to clear my head and will tell you guys everything i can remember after the interview.

Love for all....

Don't freak out, everything is going to be ok... you may or may not get a stamp, I think it's up to the officer. Maybe falafel got a stamp because of the changes with the GC. Perhaps the IP thought that with the new GC coming out, it would delay falafel getting her GC...

Everyone is going on vacay, me too, I wanna one (lol)! I think time away will do you and hubby some good, time to stop thinking about the interview letter. This site is a gift and a curse. I luv it because I get support from others going through the same experience as me, but sometimes it gets in your head like... wait, so-and-so got such-and such and filed after me... Oh no, something must be wrong with my case... I'll just be happy when I get a break from USCIS before I have to file my ROC.
