Hey guys,

Are you able to renew your drivers license online after received your green card?(I haven't received yet though) Cause I was trying to do it, but they system said I needed to do it in an office since Im not USC OR PResident....It expires in 20 days....I hate going to the DMV office....

yes Krys... remember that extensive list I typed out and also keep in mind that the interview is for u to bring the "originals" of what was submitted in the AOS packet. Kind like a verification of data thing

My original are already packed away... On the interview paper it asked for a certified copy of the marriage certificate, it kinda confused me. Thank goodness I asked because I was going out on Monday to get a certified copy for nothing.

I have a problem. I have my interview on Monday, I got all the required documents except we can't find wife's 2009 w2. We sent a copy with AOS, but the original is missing. We are still looking but just in case we can't find it what then?

You're supposed to bring the originals, if you don't have originals, certified copies will do. (I.E. my original BC was lost years ago, so my BC is a certified copy. It's a print out of microfiche on the same paper my daughter's BC is on with all the same seals and holograms, etc.

However, I didn't have to show anything like that. The only thing they asked for was new proof of cohabitation (I gave her our latest lease,) and she seemed to be edging toward asking for emails for the time my husband and I spent apart, but she first asked how we communicated during that time, and I said mostly by phone, so she didn't ask for anything else with regard to that. She also asked for more pictures of our daughter, but I can't figure out why except that she is so beautiful.

As a side-note SSA & DMV are way behind USCIS so yeah, ya might have to go in

Well ya usually get a original one which the witnesses signed, then they give ya a free certified copy with the raised seal and the one with the seal is the one they wanna glimpse

Been Waiting since 81 days since filing with no response/ interview letter....any suggesting. BTW, I have my ead card, done bio, filed April 22nd, Bio Done 5/11, ead receipt 6/3 and nothing else...I am in atlanta.

IDK why people in Atlanta get delayed, however their paper work gets done with no problems but they are done later. I hope you get you Interview letter soon BADASS. you already waited enough

Finally I have my interview today. I got most of the things in the packet I am going take with me except for the original W2 that got lost. Hopefully they don't ask to see that. I Will be back later tonight and tell you guys how it went.
