I think there is no particular way , and that they send one or the other depending on the case. I got an RFE and they just ordered my EAD card, still no interview letter on the mail. I didn't ask for EAD to be expedited or anything.

It's cool to have this thread to share our experiences, but please everyone keep in mind that our cases are all different, and that they are all treated according to their standards that we will probably never understand!

Hi everyone.After my biometrics my case was transferred to CSC and today i recieved email from USCIS "On June 15, 2010, we transferred this I485 APPLICATION TO REGISTER PERMANENT RESIDENCE OR TO ADJUST STATUS to our NATIONAL BENEFITS CENTER location for processing because they now have jurisdiction over the case. We sent you a notice of this transfer. Please follow any instructions on this notice. You will be notified by mail when a decision is made, or if the office needs something from you."Whats this mean?

Thanks for the nice data! You can add mine if you want; I can't figure out how to work the VJ timeline, maybe you take the data from there. Anyway, no interview letter for us still... we had no RFEs and we tried (but were denied) early biometrics... and we still wait.

I am feeling a bit more positive these days. I have my biometric appointment tomorrow and the USCIS received my 2nd RFE yesterday. Fingers crossed for no more RFEs :wacko:

and congratulations to everyone who has received their interview letters. I think I will be one of the last April filers to get my interview though. Never mind, I have waited this long and I can wait a bit longer. I'm sure it will be worth it in the end :blink:
