call nvc today, and case was sent to japan today...

start preparing for more document.

got couple questions here....

do we need a signed employment letter from the employer? my employer provides us wiht employment letter but without signature...i was wonderinf if that is ok??

anybody here any trouble when asking a bank statement from citibank officer??

You should have a signature... and it should be on company letterhead. I don't use Citibank.... what trouble are they giving you?

Just ask the bank officer for nororized statements which show all your accounts and the average daily balance over the last six months for each account. I provided similar information to the Tokyo embassy and attended my fiance's interview. The bank satements I gave them were ok.

Also, I read somewhere that you can use your original hiring letter (if you have one) and paystubs in place of an employee letter. Check with the embassy to see what they require.
