Wow, beautiful. Now if I could just get the body to look good in the ones I love. Abdel brought me some beautiful outfits for my wedding presents, even had one hand-made by an international designer that has a shop in Taza as well as one in Canada, but I still need to lose about 20 pounds to get into it.

Oh, you've brought up my favorite topic - ethnic clothes! I (L) shalwar kameez, but I look silly in them :huh:

If I could, I would wear abaya every day. I have a ton I got from egypt, and the return center for Sajeda is in my town, so I can go and get returns for half price. They have drop dead georgeous embroidered thobes that I'd like to get my hands on

But, since i work in a law firm and the dress is business/business casual, no abayas on weekdays for me

:( Most of my wardrobe for work is from Shukr.

06/15/09 - Citizenship interview

07/15/09 - Citizenship ceremony. Alhamdulilah, the US now has another american muslim!

Feb. 19, 2010 - N-400 Application sent to Phoenix Lockbox

April 3, 2010 - Biometrics

May 17,2010 - Citizenship Test - Minneapolis, MN

July 16, 2010- Retest (writing portion)

October 13, 2010 - Oath Ceremony

Journey Complete!
