Hello Everyone,

Im brand new here, have been reading for a few days and this is my question. I have not started any of this process yet, but very concerned I am on social securtity disability Insurance, since 2006. If you have no co-sponser but are legally married to a non US citizen and he is still in his country(Egypt) is there any chance they are ever going to let him come to the U.S. also he is on waiting list for green card lottery there since Nov. "09". Thank you for any ideas or info. I am U.S. citizen.

Your "chances" would depend on the totality of circumstances surrounding your case and just how bona fide the relationship is and how you demonstrate that.

K3 is dead though so there's zero chance he'll be granted a K3 visa or even allowed to apply for one. Next stop for you is to study the CR1 guide.

I don't know about being on SSDI but I do know that if you do not earn enough to be over the poverty level by 125% you can get someone to co-sponsor your SO to help you get them here.
