No touch in almost 5 months?

I sent my I-130 back in March and the date on my NOA1 is March 15, 2006. There was a touch on March 24th and since then NOTHING. The truth is that I've been more preoccupied about my K-3 so I didn't pay much attention to this fact, but no touch in almost 5 months seems very odd. I've seen that the majority of I-130s from the Vermont Service Center were being transferred to the California Service Center, but mine hasn't. Was the last touch to pick it up and throw it in the garbage or what? Has this happened to anyone else? I'm so frustrated with the K-3 process and to have problems with the CR-1 on top of that is going to just drive me nuts!

hmmmmmm. Call them. Or, even better, ask your congressman, senator's office to find out the latest info about your applications.

Yes it takes a lot to have that part of the proccess done, i waited 5 months at Vermont too, to have my I-130 Approved, i know it is very crazy but 5 months was what it took me too from Dec 05 till May 06, check my timeline so you can see my times, And dont get very stressed i know it is very hard but that part for the Cr1 was the most stressful for me the rest have been faster till now :)

OK, thank you! I feel much better! I am having one of those days where I just feel the USCIS is out to get me so this sets my mind at ease. I am in Venezuela with my husband until we receive his visa and we've already been screwed over by the K-3 so now I'm looking to the CR1. I just want to take him home with me!! Thanks again!!

Be thankful you get to be with your husband. My husband and I have been apart for 7 months and everyday without him is excruciating.

Enjoy Venezuela!! And try to relax, ok? :D

Thanks, Jtobster.....I hope I can be with my husband very soon, too! I'm so happy that we got our I-130 approved, I could just cry.

Patience is key, but sometimes it's a very elusive thing, too. Make the most of every day, together or apart, and the reward will come.
