Congrats on your NOA-1. Did you submit the old I-129F or the new one? I assume you submitted the new one. It will basically ask, if you and your wife met through an International Marriage Broker Association or not. You will either click on "yes" or "no." It will also ask for, if you have any convictions, like domestic violece, sexual assault, etc. The will provide some crime lists and if anyone has any such convictions, then he/she has to click the appropriate one. In that case, that person has to submit the charges, disposition, and police report, etc. If anyone does not have any conviction, they don't need to click on anything.

I-130 Timeline with USCIS:

It took 92 days for I-130 to get approved from the filing date

NVC Process of I-130:

It took 78 days to complete the NVC process

Interview Process at The U.S. Embassy

Interview took 223 days from the I-130 filing date. Immigrant Visa was issued right after the interview

Since you have filed the new I-129F, they won't sent you any RFE (Request for Evidence) regarding IMBRA. But they can send RFE, if something was not filled out correctly, if something left blank, if proper documentaions were not submitted, proper feel was not rendered. But you already got the NOA-1. So I don't think you will get any RFE.

Man, you have just made my day! Cant thank you enough!

Simple male is correct. New Form, NO IMBRA REF.

Its nice to see u dancing brown horse. I remember the day u posted that u were dying and needed help :D

Everyone told u to bare with it, and see......... You are fine now. But that was quite ok, too. After all we are humans and have emotions. And this is the most emotionally difficult situation for most of us.

BTW I have started a thread where all who filed new I-129F can share thier situation. I dont know how to place that link here but I will update that thread just now so u cn see that on top. Good luck Avry1.

Hey BrownHorse, Did your I-130 get xfer from NSC to CSC? or is it still with NSC? I am guess that since it took over a month for you to get NOA1 for I130 it was xfered. True?

Not quite correct. Whilst submitting the new I-129F should mean no RFE because it already contains the added questions relating to IMBRA, there has been many RFE's received erroneously. This has occured not only at the service centers but at NBC for the spousal I-129F. Hopefully they have ironed out this problem now and are looking more closely at the forms submitted as opposed to the blanket sending out of RFE's.

BrownHorse

Really glad you finally received that NOA1  Each step takes a little more weight off. Now you wait for your case to be adjudicated and approved  Wishing you all the best for your journey.

If they send RFE erroneously, it is their fault. All we have to do is return it to them. Since brownHorse already had his NOA-1, he won't receive RFE.
