can one get RFE after the Biometrics appointment?

Yes you can. You realistically can get an RFE right up until you get the physical card. Sorry :(

As for the web, when did you get the receipt numbers? I got mine on the 20th via text but I couldn't see them till the night of the 21st. It recommends that you don't bother checking until you get the hard copy notice but my notice arrived today and I've been able to check it.

Did you get yours via text? Or hard copy? Are you SURE you're entering the info right? 13 figures in total, the first 3 are letters and the rest numbers. **fingers crossed** you get it visible online soon :)

If it helps from what I've read online, they aim for you to have your biometrics booked (as in the date to go in, not when you hear) around a month from your NOA1 date.

04/14/2010 Received e-mails and text messages

04/15/2010 Check Cashed

04/16/2010 NOA1 (Name wasn't hyphenated)

04/19/2010 Called to USCIS for a name correction

04/21/2010 Received Biometrics appointment notice (ASC Duluth, MN)

04/23/2010 Received Name change notice

05/03/2010 Biometrics appointment

We didn't know that the biometrics could be done at the Application Support Center (ASC), so we are glad that there is no need of making a trip to St. Paul, MN.

Our AP case showed up on the web on Friday. But the rest are still not there.

Went to Infopas appointment today hoping we could expedite the biometrics appointment. They told us NO. :-(

Hello to everyone,

Just thought I'd say hello for now. I submitted my applications on April 16th. I included the Form G-1145 for the E-Notification but got neither a text message or any emails. But, more importantly, I did receive the hard copy Receipt Notices today so that is even better.

Yes please!! I personally have the ability to see people's signatures disabled because I was sick of people with huge photos taking up my screen (plus it makes reading the forums a lot easier). So if it's written in the sig I can't see it.

The previous week a member of this forum did a walk-in biometrics in St Paul, MN. So, yes, you can go at an earlier date, just don't forget to bring the Appointment letter with you.
