So I didn't get my Green card today either!!! I think the mail man screwed it up! Yesterday he put the wrong mail in our mailbox so I caught up to him and made him fix it, but he said there is nothing for us. Now I'm wondering if he put our mail in someone else's mailbox! Does anyone know if calling USPS would be of any help? Or should I just wait longer?

Got another update on my GC. Received the welcome letter today (dated 6th July) so it took a week to arrive. Also received a case update today stating "post decision activity" which I'm going to assume is the card has been mailed. We shall see :)

Either way.. woot! That and i have a puppy now :) So it's been a great couple of days :D

I think you are using your imagination there! I'd say wait some more before the mailman grows a lifetime weird feeling towards your address.

...but I see what you were doing there lady! You were COMPLAINING to the mailman. Nice try!! Save some of the "complaining luck" to us, will ya?

I got my "Welcome to the USA" letter on Monday and also an email saying "On July 12, 2010, we mailed you a notice that we have approved this I485 APPLICATION TO REGISTER PERMANENT RESIDENCE OR TO ADJUST STATUS". Is that my green card they have mailed? I hope so.

Can you believe I still not getting my new interview letter? It has been three weeks and few days since we went to the infopass to cancel and reschedule and we called too... They told me 60 days... They screwed my Spain trip... My last chance is to get the interview between August 1st till August 12th... I will not be able to see my husband until December probably...and I will have no more dates for the interview until December 9th or after... And they know that as we gave them the dates my husband will be in the country.. we also gave them the contract and the company info for them to confirm... :( I can't be more upset... They just don't get it that we have a life and this will be really hard for me and my marriage... Hubby took this very important contract because we knew I would be able to go with him... If not he wouldn't have done it... Now I will just be alone at home.. nothing to do (I have a cast on my right hand for a tendinitis) and getting once a day phone call from hubby. Then I might get in trouble because we didn't live together for 5 months... They might play around with that too... I will need to bring plane tickets, hotels and everything from my husband to prove why we don't have pictures, or dinners out, or movie time for so long... I just can't believe it... :( ... I really hope I get the latter this week as LATE... cause I know they send it like a month before the actual date... I am already out of range if I don't get the letter this week... Prays on me :(... Please please please!!!

BTW This is what I have for the interview ready... please let me know if I might need something else or need to fix something... more than thank you :)

Pictures since the day we met 4 years ago

Papers showing we were neighbors for two years dating (that's how we met)

First lease contract together

Bills under both my name and his name at first address

Second lease contract together

Bills under both names

My cell phone is under his name (he bought my cell phone and open my account as a gift :))

His life insurance were I am the beneficiary

I am on his car insurance

I have extensions of his credit cards

We have a joint account were he deposit almost 90% of his checks... he keeps a little just for video games and stuff... he doesn't use our joint account... I manage all that money

All my bank account and credit cards are already under my marriage name

Pictures from vacations together and bills on credit cards for hotel (we drove over there)

Pictures with co-workers parties, family parties and friends parties.

All wedding favors and invitations.

Pictures of the pre and post wedding reception.

We didn't make taxes together as I had a company and his accountant told him he can't do joint taxes as this are different taxes (company/personal) Didn't understand but follow his recommendation. Hubby have this accountant for almost 8 years.

We didn't have a honey moon :( Hubby needed to leave in emergency three days after the wedding to NY... I went there with him but I just enjoyed NY by myself and saw hubby during the night for dinners and sleeping time. Some dinners with co-workers but I didn't took any picture of us :(

Emails back and forth since 2008 when we moved together

Few skype chatting copies

Plane ticket canceled ( I was going to see him in California but they flew him back home )

Pictures of our house

Paperwork of a loan approval (we are looking to buy a house)

Cards from our friends and family for our wedding

Paperwork from a Body shop under my name ( I crashed his truck TWICE :))

Paperwork of my pregnancy and my time at the hospital (ectopic pregnancy :(... went into surgery)

Payments he did to the hospital

I can get letter from every single person that knows us (family, friend, co-workers) as a couple telling how hard was our relationship always because of his work and how much we fought for this relationship to work.

I don't know what else can we get or we need.

I will take any advised.

Thank you guys!!

And congratulations to all of you already done with it!!

Okay, so after recieving the EAD in the mail and touches on AOS on 7-2, 7-5, 7-6, and Saturday 7-10( I dind't know they worked weekends) my hopes were dashed that an approval was on the way when I recieved e-mail notification today of a RFE. Hopefully it is something simple, but really wasn't expecting to get one after the transfer to the CSC.
