Grats.

I don't know about you.. but even though I know it means more waiting.. I just feel good knowing that it's out of my hands now. That I've done all I can for now and can relax that someone else somewhere is working on my case.. or is going to :) One more thing to take off my list of "things to do" :D

Now I get to take some time to pull together our relationship evidence for our interview (if needed). I'm thinking:

- bank statements showing joint account

- phone bill showing in both names

- wedding cards from family and friends

- wedding photos/video/album

We aren't renting at the moment so no other bills.. maybe some more things showing living at the same address. I don't want to bother with affidavits unless desperately required.

Health insurance we don't have... well... I think we do through his work but I haven't even thought about it.

If I get the EAD in time to get my licence (if Iowa will allow it) I'll get a drivers licence with the current address on it. I could also apply for a job (which is the plan anyway) and if i get health care through them apply for him as well). He's adding me to have access to his government things.. it's just weird thinking about knowing that we're a real relationship but having to find ways to prove it.

I included these in my original submission. He added me to his Health insurance at work, was to go get my ID re-done for Delaware but their procedure was so different that it would have required me to do a lot of running around (didnt feel like it on top of school work and the AOS).

I might take along ALL original paperwork/evidence sent along with IDs and anything else. I feel the same way about having to PROVE our relationship. Gosh we argue and have our wonderful moments like everyone else lol. Now what bothers me is people who act like the "real relationship" is all peachy-keen and rainbows. :ot2:

I just noticed that my Alien # in the NOA1 for the I-485 is different from the one that USCIS gave me for my OPT when I was an F-1 Student, does anyone knows if they change your A#? I have read that once uscis assign the #, stays the same forever. Now I am worried that they reject my papers, because I filled all my forms with the Alien # that appeared in my old EAD.

Hello,

I sent my AOS package (I-485, EAD, AP) on April 10, 2010, using USPS with signature confirmation.

"Your item was delivered at 2:23 PM on April 13, 2010 in CHICAGO, IL 60680 to INS MIXED . The item was signed for by D COLONNA."

I got the USCIS Acceptance Confirmation Emails today :)

Done with K1, AOS and ROC

well, I have a friend who filed last week of march and already got her biometrics letter for this month- I think that is REALLY fast.

That would be my case too... I got my appointment for Biometric for May 3rd... That is exactly 24 since my NOA and 27 days since my checks cashed... Wondering if anybody else got the biometrics appointment already as I don't see any new posts :unsure:

You're right, the Alien number should remain the same (that's what I was told when I got mine, that it's mine for life). How different is it? just a digit (like a mistype) or completely wrong?

ASC Appointment Notice was issued on 4/15/2010/ , Got it in the mail box On Monday.

Nothing in the email though.. and nothing if i check the web by our case number.
