It depends. You should definitely be advised online. If you didn't sign up for email updates then you won't get an email about it. The email is just the online system letting you know your status updated online and sends you a copy of the update.

I did sign for online updates. But I guess mine was not transferred to CSC because I haven't received any follow-up emails aside from the acceptance of my case. Oh well I'm stressing myself too much on waiting. :wacko:

yep. Got the email notification and also changed online but still waiting for the physical notice... 7 days later :S

You can see that one says "we transferred this case... to California... for processing" and the other "was transferred and is now being processed" the bold part being the part that matters. Hope that helps

Ok.. that's sucks! I have to redo my Biometrics because FBI cannot read my fingerprints card!

I will try to do a walk-in at St Paul ASC this week, don't want to wait till the appointment date 23/06 which will further delay my case.

What should I take note this time, doing the fingerprinting? Put on hand cream before that?

I am pretty upset now..

Definitely try the walk-in. As for the fingerprints, do not use hand cream...keep them dry. Fingers to be printed must be clean and dry. Wiping the individual's fingers with an alcohol swab and then drying them should prevent perspiration from being a problem.

There shouldn't be any problem with a walk-in.

Just avoid any snide remarks about their lack of "quality control"

I haven't had any touches on my cases since 4/23... And no notice of my cases being transfer to CSC... Will they just process my cases at NBC (National Benefit Center)? My cases where the earliest in April and so my Biometrics... I am suppose to received my Working papers between the 7th and 15th of June... I believed my RFE for the i690 really delayed my case

Any one else in same situation?

Cases get transferred to CSC depending on if your local USCIS location is backlogged. Per USCIS processing times CSC is only 6 months behind. Also I think it goes according to what visa you are adjusting from ...such as K1's already had a interview at their local consulate and USCIS might hold off from interviewing until ROC filing. But I could be wrong. It could be that your case will be transferred to your local office. I'm not sure what visa you are adjusting from. The RFE can definitely hold up the case.

Sigh. So add me to the list of people with growing frustration. It's been 2 months to the day now since my NOA1 and I've received nothing. My last updates remain at NO touches on AP since April 7, AOS since May 4, EAD since May 3 (and the AOS/EAD were just updates after my Bio).... If I was getting touches at least, then I'd know they're moving along, but there's NOTHING. I am seeing people 'in line' after me already getting approved and frankly, I'm irritated. I know we all need the EAD for various reasons, but it just really sucks. My husband lost his job in January and hasn't been able to find another, so we are BOTH without income right now, and have been for the last 5 months (and yes, we had to get a co-sponsor, obviously). I NEED my EAD !!!!! I could care less about AP because I can't afford to travel anyways, and AOS can wait even. Just give me EAD for crying out loud. I don't need it because I'm bored, I need it because we can barely pay the freaken bills. We should be able to ask for expedites in that case, but I know they don't care.

We haven't had any touches either! I see a lot of people here getting the news that their case has been transfered to CSC or whatever other touches, and we have had nothing. NOA1 was on April first, then we had biometrics, but since then no news at all. We are adjusting from a K1 and we applied for EAD and AP at the same time. I hope we hear something soon. It's like it all went into a black hole!
