Tell me about it!! I still haven't received the official "we have your file now in CA" letter and it was on the 21st!! 7 days for a letter to get to me from the same country it was sent from? i've received parcels from Aus quicker than this!

I find it strange that I did not get a "received case in CSC" update yet. I have seen most get them within a week of being transferred. I hope it's not lost :huh:

04/2006 - Interview (1st time) denied

Waited, waited...... no review

06/2009 - Filed k1 (2nd time)

09/2009 - NOA 2 approved

12/2009 - Interview (2nd time) APPROVED! VISA ISSUED

That does seem a bit strange 1 week seems to be the norm. However I think they may had a bit of a backlog because of new cards. :unsure: Maybe shifted some people to help get caught up.

There seems to be a huge backlog with everything right now. :( Not sure why things are moving so slowly.

Did you actually get an update in the system that case is now at CSC? Forgive me if you already mentioned it.

yep. Got the email notification and also changed online but still waiting for the physical notice... 7 days later :S

This is the "we've sent it to CSC" one:

This is the "case received at CSC, processing resumed" one:

You can see that one says "we transferred this case... to California... for processing" and the other "was transferred and is now being processed" the bold part being the part that matters. Hope that helps :D

I also got the USCIS email update "I-485 was transferred and is now being processed at USCIS" a week later after my I-485 is transferred to CSC.

Should I get another NOA letter for that? I am confused... I did get NOA letter for the I-485 transferred to CSC though..

Done with K1, AOS and ROC

You should. I did. It doesn't REALLY matter because it's not used for anything anywhere but it's a good way to make sure your mail is getting through. i'm hoping to get my 2nd NOA confirming my files arrived tomorrow (well today now considering the time :P) but I'm not holding my breath. I'm starting to wonder if these are being processed in the Arctic... not that I'm blaming the sled dogs for being so slow, maybe their owners should feed them more...

Hi Everyone,

I am new to this site. Here is my question. I sent back to RFE response for i485 and got a notification that case processing resumed. This fell onto within the couple days of getting the scheduled Biometrics done. So processing, especially for EAD, started all over which means I have to do counting 11 weeks from the case resumed date??? Got the Bio done about 30 days after NOAs dated.

Is there anyone who is NOT adjusting from K-1 but still got the case transfer to California?

5/8/12- I-751 Mailed

6/22/12- Early bio done, received 551 stamp

6/25/12- NOA received dated 6/21

1/29/13- Approved

It depends. You should definitely be advised online. If you didn't sign up for email updates then you won't get an email about it. The email is just the online system letting you know your status updated online and sends you a copy of the update.
