So, I'm starting to get frustrated and impatient. lol I haven't had touches on AP since April 7th, nothing on AOS since May 4, and nothing on EAD since May 3rd. When can I start asking them about EAD? Is it 60 days from my NOA1, or 90? My husband is also out of work, thus right now we actually have NO income, so this is extra frustrating and stressful for us...

So, I'm starting to get frustrated and impatient. lol I haven't had touches on AP since April 7th, nothing on AOS since May 4, and nothing on EAD since May 3rd. We are very close in time lines. I would wait until 60 days, but that's not a rule, just my intuition.

I don't think it would hurt to ask if you feel a sense of urgency regarding getting work authorization.

It's very common to get the EAD in 2 months, but if you have passed 60 days I would ask about it.

We are still waiting for the AOS, EAD and AP (sent AOS papers 29 March). 60 days for us will be

the end of this month, so I might start asking then, because my wife will want to go to Thailand

in July for a short visit and if we wait too long the interview would most likely be scheduled for July,

when she will be away. We're starting to get frustrated too, but it's not unusual to wait longer than

2 months.

I got my interview notice yesterday, what a surprise !!!!

Interview in a Month, so I guess I wont worry about my EAD, The interview it's so much better !!! :thumbs:

It's Monday now....hopefully they will be working on our cases now so we can get our GC's. I hope we get them soon :)

Yeah they should have at least updated/touched your form after the biometrics

My appointment is for June 14th! Do you think I should go in early?

I'd say, dependin on your office, GIVE IT A SHOT- nothing tried, nothing done.

If you are relatively close, you'll lose nothing in attempting such. Go on a Wednesay though. ;)
