OMG!!!

Just got my appointment notice!!!!!!!

June 21st in Mt. Laurel for me, I totally thought it'd be in Newark seeing as they sent me to Elizabeth for bm.

I haven't even gotten my EAD yet! This came as a total surprise!

I'll be in the corner dancing

Did you received any email or they just sent your appointment by the mail?

Another case (ours) transferred to the California Service Center. Received a text message and email last night about 10:00 pm. This is great news because it will allow us to travel (in country) during the summer. Does anyone have a feel for processing times specific to the CSC? Is there a seperate place for CSC statistics?

Good news! I guess the USCIS office works hard.

I haven't seen any place for CSC statistics, I usually check the Timeline of previous months filers.

He isn't actually "this group". He's an I-130 filer not a "family based" filer so nope. The award for "first" is still up for grabs :D

Falafel you're welcome to continue reading and posting of course but this: http://www.visajourney.com/forums/topic/249837-april-2010-filers/ is the thread for non-family based AOS'ing. Not because I don't want you here, but you'll find people in the AOS from Student etc forum will have people going through the same things as you and it'll offer more reliable time and statistics for your particular "journey".

Congrats on the interview though! :D

Congrats to those who have received interview letters... yay

I successfully did my walk-in Biometrics in Dover this morning (10:53) and was out of there by 11:04. The security was very kind when I explained th him the situation with making it for the original 8am appt and he agreed that I already came far enough, so they let me do it- even though the fella who took my prints was nagging that he had people for April, May and now me, a June printer... Oh well, he'll get over it.

I check almost once an hour. I always think, "OMG, This could be it. This could REALLY be it!!!" Then the screen comes up... and nothing has changed. Big let down every time!

Hey guys; all post-Biometrics Aosers, the time will come for us all.... Hopefully it wont be too long. I used to check mine twice or three times a day, now I just wait til the evening to check it once so I dont freak out if they're gonna update or not. Stay occupied and keep your mind settled

Did not realize I didn't count as family based as this was through marriage to my USC husband.

Sorry all.

Sorry all.

Awww it's okay! No harm at all. We all enjoy helping each other out. It's a little confusing I know. A "family based visa" is where we had to apply in our home country for a visa to come over here be with either our fiance or spouse. That's K1 (fiance), K2 (child of fiance), K3 (spouse), K4 (child of spouse). CR1 is a family based visa but they do not need to apply for AOS so that's why they're not included.

The other group came over on other visas such as visa waiver, visitors visa, student, work etc and have to file I-130 (petition for spouse) after marrying their USC as well as the I-485.

Hello everyone! This is my first post in this thread. I wasn't sure if I'm supposed to be in March or April thread. I sent out my AOS application on March 29 but my NOA is April 12th, so I think this is where I belong hehehe I did my biometrics on May 10th and I had touches that same day, but since then nothing. I too am getting antsy, wishing that I'd get a transfer to CSC. I try not to obsess over USCIS website too much, sometimes it works, sometimes not so much! :P Good luck everyone, I hope we all get some kind of update soon!
