Best of luck besaangel!

Thanks hon- what is your status/what are you waiting for?

Good luck for the walk-in. He means your biometrics. You haven't put in when your biometrics was SCHEDULED so people know how long the wait between getting the letter and having the appointment might be.

Oh that

Just finished my Biometrics Appointment today. The lady taking my biometrics said my fingerprints are light to read. So I asked if there would be problems? She said she doesn't know, need to wait for the FBI to report back.

Now, how to know if the Biometrics are ok or not? How long would USCIS take to inform me if I need 2nd time fingerprinting?

Done with K1, AOS and ROC

Congrats on getting them done. I would assume (though could be wrong) that you'd get some kind of letter or notice if you need to re-take your appt. The time depends on how soon they get to and update your case but isnt definate.

Well, my case was transferred to CSC and my I-485 was touched last week. I hope to get at least the EAD soon but I won't be upset if they decide to send the GC first. ;)

Ok I checked that my I-485 and I-765 are touched today. So does that mean my Biometrics are ok??!?

I think I will call up USCIS Customer Service hotline tomorrow to double check.

Someone in the March filers forum had to redo bm, I think they send you a notice like the one for the original schedule saying they didn't come out and you have to go back. I think the touch is because they were sent to FBI, it doesn't mean they are ok. You should know in a few days if you have to redo them and if not...onto the next step!

Another case (ours) transferred to the California Service Center. Received a text message and email last night about 10:00 pm. This is great news because it will allow us to travel (in country) during the summer. Does anyone have a feel for processing times specific to the CSC? Is there a seperate place for CSC statistics?

James did his biometrics on the 6th this month, no touches or progress since then. I am hoping they just forgot to tell us when they transferred our case :(

If our petition doesn't get transferred to CSC and has to go to our local office for processing will USCIS let us know? Does it usually stay in Chicago longer if it doesn't go to CSC?

James & I thought we wouldn't care about processing times for his GC since we get to be together for it, but it suuucks that he can't work. I'm definitely eager for his EAD to come.
