:innocent: Finally got my Biometrics letter :innocent:

Congrats!

I guess the best time to go depends on the office. For example, at the St. Paul, MN office the best time was noon as everybody tends to go early morning to do the walk-ins (this according to another April filer).

Gosh Im going back and forth about it. I called USCIS and she says "based on our reports, ASC offices don't allow walk-ins. But you could try to do that the Wednesday after your Biometrics." So I'm a little confused

WHEN IS THE BEST TIME TO TRY FOR A WALK-IN? WHY ARE THEY SAYING THAT OFFICES DON'T ALLOW IT?

Technically the ASC offices DON'T like them but some of them don't mind at all. The only way to know for sure is to go to the office itself. DO NOT go after your appointment date, always go before. If they say no you can try again OR you can just wait for the appointment.

Guys how do I post my time line?

Go here. on the left is this: Edit / Add my Entry

You will need to enter your email address and then you can add stuff there. Let me know if you have any trouble.

http://www.visajourney.com/reviews/index.php?cnty=&cty=Dover+DE&dfilter=5 those are the Dover reviews. These all appear to be for the interview though.

How far are you from the office?

Yea after I got the letter I browsed through the reviews, thanks though.

I live about an hour's drive but was thinking of doing a walk-in tomorrow without the hubby, to see if I can get it done especially with the delay in receiving the letter. My appt is set for June 2nd but no harm in trying for an earlier date ;)

Hi,

We just received all three NOA letters yesterday May 17 so we anticipate that we will receive our biometrics very soon, can any of you who did your walk in biometrics done early describe the process? We live in L.A. and suspect that there must be an office in L.A. has anyone done their biometrics in the L.A. office. We are hoping that perhaps because of our case is fairly simple that our case will be transfered to CSC and perhaps not have to do an interview but I guess you never know about how that occurs. Also how do you know that your case has been "Touched" we filed the 1148 for email notification. Is there another way to know they have been working on your case?

Good luck for the walk-in. He means your biometrics. You haven't put in when your biometrics was SCHEDULED so people know how long the wait between getting the letter and having the appointment might be.
