When I arrived in the U.S. last year, grocery shopping became very exciting because most products in Philippine stores aren't found in Wholefoods. That's the nearest supermarket from where we live.

I bought a pack of chocolate-chip cookies one day and gladly coaxed my husband to eat them. After a few bites, he told me that he would not have more cookies. I tasted the cookies and I understood what he meant. My husband said that I should avoid getting something from 365.

Do you also have 365 experiences? It's cheaper than most brands but that shouldn't mean it couldn't do better; however, it doesn't really seem to do better.

I've never of that brand either ...most of the organic foods I buy are from Trader Joe's or my local grocery store (Stater Bros.). For value and price of organic foods, Trader Joe's is unbeatable, IMO.

I have heard their wine selection is very have to beat as well!

I haven't ever had something bad from that brand. Was it only cookies that made you swear off the whole line, or something else?

We go to Trader Joe's once each week only. That's quite a drive from here plus the unattractive traffic. Wholefoods is only four blocks away.

I always make my own broth but when I cook chicken sotanghon (chicken soup with bean thread), I use prepared chicken stock. I gave some to the US-Can girl next door the last time I made that soup. She liked it so much and she asked me to share the recipe. She had her turn in cooking and gave me soup in return. I asked what chicken stock she used. She showed me the label-- 365. I don't think that was because I put better flavor than that girl did. I only add little salt everytime I cook the same soup and my husband is more than satisfied.
