I had T-Mobile and a Blackberry from 2007 - 2009 and came to hate both. I got an iPhone last June and fell deeply in love. The thing is like my right arm. I do everything with it in the US and overseas. It is freakin' awesome! And AT&T whips T-Mobiles azz all over the place.

Just as long as it's not like your right hand. :P

What I guess will happen is that there will be a 4th generation iPhone out later this year which will be exclusive, and the current 3GS version will be open to other networks.

The technology in the iPhone is already old and there are several new phones out or coming out that beat it (HTC Desire, HTC Evo 4g, Samsung Galaxy S). So there will have to be a new version of the iPhone that adds significantly more functionality for Apple to justify its price premium.

The Nexus One, some of the HTC Pro Touch phones, and of course my Blackberry :P

I looked at the iPhone and just dont' see the appeal.

the iphone is a toy, the others you listed are business tools. all are excellent at what they are. still not a touch screen convert though and i hate the blackberry navigation. i prefer windows mobile but maybe thats because i know windows better than most.

I have a blackberry and don't care for it, wouldn't get another.

Takes an age of the earth to power it up and the UI is buggy. sometimes it freezes or slows to a crawl for no apparent reason, or when I take it out of the holster the busy icon is showing (presumably some process going on behind the scenes) and you can't use the phone until it's done or you restart it.

iPhone is actually very useful - does everything the Blackberry does and Apple's software design is a lot better. Only thing is the battery life is shitty - but it's bad on the Blackberry too.
