New iPhone To Possibly Be Available To All Networks

Is AT&T really that bad? The husband & I are leaning toward iPhones when we're free from the tyranny of the T-Mobile contract this summer. A lot of noise has been made over the last year or so about the possibility of the iPhones being available to subscribers of other carriers, and I'm tempted to wait and see what happens. Then again, I've had four different carriers over the years, and they were all pretty much the same. T-Mobile has been OK, but I picked a dud of a phone. Oy, the dilemma.

T-Mobile is usually rated fairly well where they have coverage. In many cases they are 2nd to Verizon and ahead of AT&T and Sprint.

I had T-Mobile and a Blackberry from 2007 - 2009 and came to hate both. I got an iPhone last June and fell deeply in love. The thing is like my right arm. I do everything with it in the US and overseas. It is freakin' awesome! And AT&T whips T-Mobiles azz all over the place.

But not entirely true. Do a bit of research and you may find out otherwise. What's important is what works the best in the area you need service.

Hey now, let me live in my fantasy world. :)

I think iPhones are in our future no matter what the carrier situation. I guess I'm hoping to hear that AT&T isn't so terrible.

My husband and I are using iPhone. Those phones are working just fine. There are places where signal can't be found though such as in the Avenue of the Giants. :P

I have the TMobile family plan.. 3 phones unlimited web, talk and text for 210/mo. and they are all Iphones... so easy to unlock an Iphone these days... Had mine on Tmobile for over a year now.. no complaints...
