How about getting the iPod Touch if you want all the same features minus the phone? With so many wireless hubs out there, you can take it just about anywhere.

The iPad is gay and only Apple fanboys would pay $500 for something that is locked down and doesn't even support flash. You could get a real computer for that price. Apple fanboys are like Obama sheep, they follow blindly.

No, there aren't. Everything else out there is total shite compared to the iPhone.

Have you tried HTC or Android phones?

Well, I wouldn't call what they have a contract so much as really a terms of service that any company has when you agree to their services.

The whole point of Metro PCS is the fact that there's no actual term contract and you can back out at any time without any penalty. It's actually considered a pre-paid service when you get down to it.

I've seen their ads but you're the first person I've heard from who actually recommends it. So I went online to check out their coverage map and it is not very good. I have T-Mobile right now which also have ####### coverage but MetroPCS's map is even worse.

That's the only way the small companies can attempt to compete when they have poor coverage. They have to give you more for less money than the major carriers. If you happen to live in an area that they cover and don't travel far, it may save you some money. I don't care if the service is free, if the phone doesn't work, it's useless.

Yeah, unless you live in Atlanta, Dallas/Fort Worth, Detroit, NYC, Florida, San Franciso, Los Angeles for the main areas or the extended area... It's kind of pointless.

Everywhere I go though, it works perfectly... Even the connector flights I take, I usually fly through Atlanta or Detroit. The only downside for me is if I leave the country...

But for someone who stays in DFW most of the time and to get the features, epecially with the unlimited International calling, it's definitely worth it. I had Sprint before and was paying more than double every month and felt restricted...

 The iPod Touch is almost identical to the iPhone in size and features, minus the phone.
